I saw the commercials on T.V. for nice looking steel buildings from U.S. Buildings in florida. I went to their website and filled out the form for a quote on a 25X60 building. I got a call back the next day from a gentlemen named 'Frank'. This guys immediately rubbed me the wrong way. He sounded like a used car salesman straight out of New Jersey. I should have just ***g up the phone right there but I needed a building so I continued the conversation.Frank wouldn't give me an exact price for the building. Instead he kept asking me how much I wanted to pay. Eventually I break down and tell him the price I'm looking for and he comes back with a number just under the price I gave him. I think this is fine and agree to purchase what I think is a complete metal building for the price we've agreed on. Frank then sends me over a contract to sign agreeing to purchase the building and authorizing them to charge my card for a 'non refundable deposit' which in this case was about $3,600.00. I don't see any reason not to do this as I want the building and have no intention of canceling my order. So I sign the form and send it back.One week later Frank calls me up and tell me that I'm going to be needing some end walls for my building and that they are going to cost me another $3,000! I don't see as I have a choice in the matter as I need end walls for my building and****umed any building would be coming with walls for gods sake. So I reluctantly agree to purchase the walls for my building and sign yet another credit card authorization form for an $800 deposit this time...One week after this Frank calls me yet a***n. This time to tell me that I'm going to be needing a steel channel to attach to my foundation if I want to be able to ***** the building properly. At this point I just can't believe what's going on here and I ask him how much it's going to cost me. He comes back with a number of about $2,800!Now I've had enough of this **** at this point and demand to talk to a manager. I tell him what's gone on and that I don't appreciate this bait and switch tactic they are using.I told the manager what they are doing here is like selling someone a car and then telling them as they walk out the dealership door, 'oh by the way you'll need to buy they breaks if you want to be able to stop the car you just bought'.I tell him I want a refund and refuse to take delivery of the building. He then calls me a 'pip squeak from Florida' says he's not going to give me a refund and ****s up the phone.I've contacted my credit card company and told them what happened. As I have received no goods and was tricked into signing those non refundable credit card authorization the credit card company is not making me pay the charges and is investigating this merchant.Please be warned about this U.S. Buildings outfit as I have read many reports similar to mine on the internet after doing the research I should have done before doing business with these guys..

3/23/09 I just got ANOTHER call from US Buildings, This time from 954 281 2027 at 12:36 p.m. The guys name was Gabe. I told him that I had already put up a custom built garage, and asked him to please remove my name from their calling list , and to please stop calling me. He said ahh, okay, and that was that. (At least this clown did not **** up on me like one other guy did.)Why are these guys chasing dead leads? Why wouldn't they put more effort into  developing leads that are going to make them a sale? Because at this rate of p*ssing people off, they are running the business into the ground.

March 17th 12:40 p.m.They just called me a***n from 954 281 2058. I just pick up the phone and lay it down. These guys are such a bunch of low lifes. Please stay as far away from this company as you possibly can! You will regret ever speaking or doing business with them for the rest of your life! His wifes name is Videl and he has twins sons Adam and Anthony, both now age 29. He must employ salespeople who can do nothing better than chase dead leads. What a group of sad pathetic loosers.

Gary Rack also owns some restaurants and restaurant management companies, also many other companies that are trying to dodge the system, and the legal system. I actually got the opposite response, I was basically told to go pound sand, on the project I am working on!!!! I was trying to put $100K in these people's pockets and they basically told me they were to busy. If I had more of a case, or a bigger problem like you have, I would go after them. This guy deserves a punch in the face!!!

All of the above complaints are for Us Building or US Building Systems Corportation- they are all the same "company"- if thats what you want to call them.I am also contacting the Florida Department of Consumer Affairs and the Florida Attorney Generals Office. I waited a couple of minutes and called back this same number and  a guy answed "hello", not Good Morning US Buildings, May I help you, but "Hello".I politely asked him to please stop calling this number, as I had spoken with an individual from this company on February 27th 2009 at 6:21 p.m. (see above)and told them I was putting up a custom garage. He said "ya okay". I have already filed a police report with the local authorities, and am now contacting the BBB in the Deerfield Beach area. They called this morning at 8:21 from 954 281 2071 and I just answered the phone and let them ramble until they realized there was no one listening. 2/13/09 7:59 a.m.US BUILDINGS just called me a***n after I have asked them several times not to call. They will not give up, this is haras*****t. This time they called from 954 281 2075. I copntacted the Deerfield Beach police department (954) 480-4300 and was told I would have to contact my local police department, which I have done. A police report has been filed and all of the calls from this company are being do***ented.A***n I ask you not to get involved with this company, under NO CIR***STANCES give them any of your phone numbers and MOST OF ALL NEVER NEVER NEVER give them a credit card number no matter what.The salespeople at the company are sad, pathetic, desperate individuals who will do and say anything to get a sale- then they are never to be seen or heard from a***n.

I had inquired with US BUILDINGS along with several other companies who offered the same product months ago.  I decided to have a garage custom built rather than purchasing a pre fabricated type of building.I emailed "Tim" quite a while ago to let him know that I was no longer interested in making the prurchase, that I was going to have the garage build by a local contractor. He still would not stop calling - pretty much every morning around the same time- between 7:15 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. which is the time I am getting ready for work so I don't pick up. This morning I did pick up and asked "Tim" to please stop calling. His response to me was "Why did you call us then." I called him an A**h*le and ***g up. He then called back TWO MORE TIMES to which I just answered the phone and put it down on the bed and walked away.
