Leave a CommentJust got a call claimed to be RCI said I had purchased a Florida vacation and it was about to run out. I asked him to swicth me to the account division at RCI. He ***g up It's a big SCAM called RCI and they said there was not such promotion. And told me to BE-WARE.
Just got a call from AJ at Specialty and she did her sch***l about the credit for a Florida vacation that I supposedly had from several years ago. When I told her no, I don't think so, she then said that one of my family or friends may have signed me up when they purchased a time share and I a***n said I don't think so. She said that is the only way they get their referrals. I then told her that I had googled the phone number she was calling from and that they had been reported as a scam and although I was not absolutely sure about that I wanted to be taken off her calling list. She then said ok, but wanted to know where I got all this incorrect information from and I said from googling the phone number. Once a***n I told her to take me off her calling list as I did not want the credit. Her response was to ask me why I was freaking out, called me a b***h and ***g up. She wants to see a b***h all she has to do is call back, I'll give her a b***h.

called, no one there.
They just called my house and asked to speak to my room mate and i told them just a minute..but he was busy..aka in the bathroom and the lady rudely said" are you serious", and ***g up on me! Who are these rude people anyway? I think im going to contact the better business bureau.
A.J. from Specialty just called us - so the scam is obviously still going on - she told my husband we had a $2000 unused vacation that we got years ago - it was a week in Orlando for 4 people! We didn't let her go far enough to get a credit card number of even tell us what the charge would be. She was loud, rude, and after reading all the comments from you guys - obviously n ot legitimate! Hope the authorities can do so****ing about this person. What an idiot.
got a call from this number asking for 1 of my family members but we dont know who is calling from this number
Probably a dozen calls from this number in the past four days. They either ask for someone we are not or **** up. How insane. If they are trying to sell so****ing, why not talk to you? We are on both the state and national do not call registry. Our phone company wants an extra $5/mo for a call rejection service in order to block this call. If they will stay on the line long enough, I could say to remove our number from their call list. Any other suggestions? We took a cruise out of Ft. Lauderdale last March.
constant calls, no one on line
I got the call here in Illinois today. We ARE going to Orlando sometime this year, but when I answered the phone, no one answered me and I am glad.
I keep receiving phone calls from teh same number, no answer and no messages left. This is on my cell phone too. I called the number back and got a "Reservations" line. It said to leave a message. So I did. I told them if they're not going to leave me a message telling me what they're calling about to stop calling my phone. We'll see. I am also on the Do Not Call list.
Repeatedly receiving calls from the number 954-495-9548 all times of day and night. I have received so many telemarketing calls recently, that unless I recognize the number on my caller ID, I simply don't answer the phone. The caller ID lists this number and Ft. Lauderdale Florida. There is never a message left on ma****e.I am also on the National Caller ID Do Not Call list! Apparently it's a joke because the government does nothing to enforce the law.
Called and told me I have a credit toward a travel package to Orlando. Told them I needed a vacation and s****ed telling them why. I made up this insane story and kept talking about it. When they tried to get me back on the vacation, I continued to tell about my "problems" and they ***g up on me. I guess I won't be getting that vacation :)
Got a call this morning. I could hear a lot of people talking in the background so I knew it was some sort of call center. They asked to speak to me. Asked how I was doing and then just ***g up...strange. I'm also on the no call list so I shouldn't be getting these calls anyway.
9544959548 has called 5 times in 3 days, does not talk then ****s up??? to bad some people don't get a job
A.J. from Specialty travel just called. Also told me that I had received a $500.00 credit towards a vacation within the next three years. Sounded a little fishie, but I continued to listen to his sales pitch. Told me that I could stay 4 nights at an Orlando Resort, which came with four p***** to a Disney park of my choosing, also could take a Daytona Beach vacation for 7 days, with a car rental, and finally a vacation in the Ba*****. All for registering for $168.00. I told him to give me his number and I would call him back to register, he them put "Jessie" on the phone who is the quality supervisor who proceeded with the high pressure sales bit...I don't think so... I ***g up at that point. But, three vacations all for $168.00, seams like a lot more than just a $500.00 credit could give. or is it the $168.00 plus my CC number they were after???
Said the same thing as listed here. About 3 months ago, I asked for a supervisor and they reluctantly gave me one. I asked if I did not use this service and travel I need to make sure its not fraudulent , The supervisor said that someone may have referred me as well. I asked to be taken off the call list, but they called a***n today. So I s****ed my pitch and the ***g up.
Asked for my husband by another name and then ***g up.
They did not leave a message. Have no clue who it is
Called and said the $500.00 credit from the cruise we'd taken in 2007 was unused and they did not want us to lose the credit. Did receive confirmation that the package had been ordered and would be seen on the website www.special-t-travel.com.
