I got a phone call saying he was a sheriff and said I have bonds out on me for a non answer on a jury duty summons. He wanted me to get into the car to go and get funds placed on a card he could VERIFY!!!!!! This is where you scratch the number and then they ask you for it to take your money. SCAM...VERY BAD SCAM>>>>!!!!!! Do not listen to anything they say and then block your phone number from them contacting you a***n.

This person called and said they are with the sheriff's department and I had not answered a summons to appear in court for jury duty. They said I had 2 active cases with Bonds of $1500 each and needed to post the bond so I wouldn't get arrested for 30 days. They wanted me to go get a Money Pak Card and put the funds on there and let them verify the amounts so my summons would be dismissed. He siad his name was gregory tony and then when I asked his name and badge number he gave me Kevin Swanson #10196. I said I need to verify this isn't a scam and then he said I will have an officer call you. Another number came in 954-765-4321 Then he said because I couldn't verify the call he would have me arrested. I asked him to verify my address and he gave 2 other addresses I didn't even know. He talked like an officer mentioning if I paid there would be a suppression order and the cases would be expunged. These people need to be stopped. an elderly person would fall for this scam all day long.
