This is the number for Allstate Office Supply Inc, formerly named South Bay Office Products, in Deerfield Beach, FL. They run a telemarketing scam in which they place multiple calls to a business to collect names of company employees involved in the purchasing of office supplies and purchasing decisions. When they call back, they pretend to know and have talked to the corporate controller or other decision-maker, referring to employees by name and claiming an order has been approved. Then they proceed through an inventory of office products, asking which supplies your company uses. Even if you don't confirm an order, they will ship several boxes of supplies. Although they quote prices by the box over the phone and the prices are very low (they claim they are liquidating because they are re-locating), when your company receives an invoice weeks later, the prices are per item. They sell by the gross, and even if someone intends to place a small order with Allstate/South Bay, they will receive 144 boxes of an item instead of 144 of that item. They****ume that most companies will have s****ed using the supplies by the time they receive the invoice and that the invoice will go to a separate department, where it will be paid without question.
