Had the same thing happen.This guy Mack Robinson ([email protected]) sent an email to our company asking for a quote on a very large order. Supposedly he was working for Holy Church Presbyterian Orphanage School in Ghana. We quoted him one price and told him we could do an even better price. He actually called and one of the first things he said was that he was okay with our first pricing, he didnt want a better deal. After that he asked us to e-mail his own shipping company to get a quote from them. The shipping company was "Express Delivery International" ([email protected])We emailed the "shipping company" to ask if he could call us so we can discuss the shipping details over the phone instead of through e-mail. A man named Jafar Sulaiman called and when asked ifhe had a website he claimed it wasnt working. He requested to be e-mailed  the ship to and ship from address with the weights of the product so he could send back a quote. We never e-mailed him back.  It was all too fishy, so we decided to do a search and found the exact same story of a man named Mack Robinson.

We also received an email from [email protected] requesting 400 hinges to be shipped to Norway. Also asked us to contact John Shimmers from One Shipping Company ([email protected]) to find out about shipping charges.  Very weird considering we are a small business.  BEWARE!!!!

I ALSO JUST RECENTLY GOT MAIL FROM [email protected] WANTED TO ORDER $240,000.00 WORTH OF SOME WCUSTOM WOODEN PLAQUES I MAKE.SAID NOT TO ADD SHIPPING-DO I TAKE CREDIT CARD PAYMENT-ALSO ITS KINDA HARD TO MAKE A WOODEN PLAQUE 14 FEET X 14 FEET

Glad I found this forum,Sounded a bit sus at first but I've been able to put $1000 on the card he gave me. Don't know where I stand at the moment.Guess I'll just sit on my hands till I hear from him.

I have received several requests for pump quotations as we are an ARO distributor.  All of these requests are very similar and insist on us taking a credit card.  The men requesting the quotations refuse to give their company name or address.  They are as follows:  nick.****@gmail.com - [email protected] - [email protected] - [email protected] - [email protected] - [email protected] Swiger gave me the One Shipping Company with this telephone number listed above.  I would suggest that no one accept a person's credit card for a large sum - and without confirmation of a company name and that the person emailing you really works for that company.

I received a message from John Swiger at [email protected] for an ARO pump quotation.  I quoted him on 6 pumps.  I told him we did not take credit cards, he would not tell me what company he works for but sent me a co. name and address in Norway for me to get a freight quote from One Shipping Company.  This is a shipping company based in Ghana as many tell about below.  This man at One Shipping is John Shimmers with this phone number listed above.  HIs website is www.oneshippingco.com - website appears normal, but.... This John Swiger came back to me and insisted on a credit card.  I held to my "guns" and told him we did not take credit cards, that he could wire us the money, and I never heard back from him.

Mr Torres sure gets around!!! You may put through a charge to the credit card number he gives you..but this may be stolen!!DONOT just accept his word, emails, calls even if he seems sincere and advises he's sending to his wife who is pregnant, and she can no longer travel to ****a to source the goods! Tried to buy an airline ticket from our company with stolen credit listed address in Maryland while while phone number is from Colorado. I think number could have been purchased while in Colorado from magicjack

I CONTACTED MARK MOORE FOR A BUSINESS TRANSACTION. THIS GUY IS A FRAUD AND DUMB HE WANTED ME TO SEND HIM MORE MONEY AFTER I PAID HIM THE FIRST BUSINESS WE MADE AND I STILL DID NOT RECEIVED THE GOODS. HE WANTS ME TO SEND HIM MORE CASH FOR SHIPPING AND I TOLD HIM THAT I KNOW A SHIPPING CO. WHO WILL CHARGE LESS THAT WHAT HE WANT TO CLAIM FROM ME. WHO IS A SCAM NOW.

OK, this guy is not too bright. Gives you a ship to address of Omanset Road. Lome, Togo. He's trying to scam. Been toying with him to get as much info as possible. Said he was in Vermont but gave me a Lansing, Michigan landline # of 517-377-6***. Said his name was Mack Robinson. Even sent a purchase order when I asked for it. BE CAREFUL! Has email address of [email protected]. Will refer you to his freight company and will want you to also pay the freight up front. (born at night...not last night though!!) His freight company is known as Express Delivery International with an email address of [email protected]. He even called me at my desk. You could tell that he was not local or even in America. (the phone made a wierd noise when I answered it.

This number given for purchase of $6000 worth of water slides .  Stated name as John Coleman. Same story, has his own shipping co. Etc. This time he used my credit card # falsely. Stay away from this one

Similar situation. Requested a volume purchase of concrete sealers. Could not tell me what they needed them for and wants to use a shipper out of Ghana. When I asked for business name and contact info he gives me an address in SoCal, and CO and WA phone #'s?? Claims his name is Kelvin Palmer. I would suggest staying away from this one.

Many emails & wants to buy cut material & shipped on a carrier of his choice to Ghana.  Sent me a credit card # with billing in Indiana, called from this # and said he is in Illinois.  Seemed off so I researched & the phone # is a land line in Colorado that isn't listed, then I searched the web & found this site with almost the same story.
