Just so you know, this is NOT spam. If it were plain old spam, they'd actually be trying to sell you so****ing or make money somehow... I think it's a phishing scam but can't confirm. Every time they call, I "press 1 to talk to a representative" and try to act interested in whatever they're selling. Unfortunately, if i ever ask a question like "yes. i'm totally interested. what are you offering?" they **** up... tried many times, they always **** up no matter what i say.
The call always begins with, "Hello, this is Heather from credit card services. This is your last chance to lower your interest rate." I have never lasted longer than that to know what is coming next, I always **** up first.
Robo calls about credit card - I'm on the do not call and will submit to FCC
Today was "about your credit card". Is there a cellphone do not call registry?
These guys just keep on calling me. Home phone, cell phone. I do not know where they got my cell phone number.
Got this call and one from LA. First time I've had two in one day.
I talked to indian girl and when she named three banks that I do not have a credit card with, I told her to "go *#$% herself" she ***g up. I also find it hysterical that the post from Helen Ray is obviously a spam post trying to sell so****ing to stop spam phone calls. How ridiculously ironic. Cheers!
*******s called my cell phone. I never give out my cell phone number.
*******s called me
"This is Heather from Credit Card Services and I want to talk to you about your credit card debt" New name, new location (Portland, Oregon on my caller ID) new number called from. Same result - I ***g up. I don't take calls like this.
They keep calling my home phone, I filed a complaint with the FCC.

They called but didn't leave a message. I have tried doing a reverse lookup, but can't find out who it is. I'm guessing it is SPAM just as the others below have said. For sure reading chyb's experience!! I'm glad I wasn't home to take the call!!

They called but left no message. Agree with everyone else here on this post: SPAM
Credit Card scam
Card Services
got the phone call 15 minutes ago,(Sa****ay, 13:25, Dec. 3 2011) the person verified if I had a certain amount on my two credit cards. I asked him what credit cards did was he referring to, since this information was not given to me yet. He asked me to look for the two credit cards. When I asked him to give me the last 4 digits of each CC, he got angry and said those that I had. I asked a***n for the last for numbers of each CC and told him that it was he who called me about lowering my rate. Since, he had not disclosed which CC he was talking about, AND verified with me the last 4 digits of the CC, I was not able to go further with this conversation about lowering my rates. He got upset to the point that he was yelling at me and saying that he did not ask for any security information, but i must give him the numbers of my CC. At this point I ended the call. I'm from a German speaking country in Europe and English is my 4th language, a**** others. Yet, I understand clearly enough when so****ing is wrong with such an interaction.
