Unsolicited and annoying sales call
Oil well explorations sales call
Looking for investors. Annoying.
This is an oil and gas company. They are polite and professional and call prospective partners to drill oil wells for the profits and also the active tax deductions related to drilling oil wells.
Oil well investment
Oil well salesman
they somehow got my cell phone number. i did not take the call.
I have invested in Gulf Coast Western for many years. This company is extremely reputable and not a scam as has been suggested. I have received thousands of dollars in return from my investments. The people who write and lie about this company have no idea what Gulf Coast Western is about. If they did their homework and researched the company online they will find that they are an honest and legitimate company. You should not write about things you don't understand. You are too quick to judge and accuse. Why not contact some of the investors and they will inform you just how legitimate this company is. You have no right to accuse anyone of scamming until you know what you are talking about.
too good to be true. sound more like a scam than a real investment. hope ***ody writes them a check.
Has any one invested in this company and if yes what were the results
I just received a call from this number. The call was to my cell phone that is on the do not call list. He said I was on his lisy of investers. Which I find that hard to beleave.
I just received my second call from this number. Both times during the day asking for my ***her who is at work. Both times the reply has been, "Oh, I thought I was calling his work number". I explain that he can be reached after 5:00. This last guy wanted his work number. I told him that if he calls after 5:00 I'm sure my ***her will discuss the number with him if he chooses. He proceeded to offend me by saying he is "not a bill collector". We have solicitors calling (even though we are on the do not call list), but not bill collectors. Then he says he needs to discuss his project with my ***her. I ask him what project that is. Twice I asked him, I could not understand him either time other than he was calling from Louisiana. Sounded like a complete scam to me.
Oil Well Scam company. They ask you to invest in oil wells that don't produce.
Oil Well scam company. They ask you to invest in oil wells that don't produce. They are involved in a large lawsuit for being fradulent. Don't take this call.
I just recieved a called from these said his name was Mike Thurton from Gulf coast. He said it was so****ing personal. That's how I knew it was a sales call.In my business we don't get personal calls either for me or my boss.
I received a call today, can't remember the guys name, but he wanted me to invest at least $49,000 for oil wells in LA. I told him that I wasn't interested, then he was a bit pushy telling me that I cculd expect a 500%. return. I told him a***n firmly that I wasn't interested and he said that he hopes that better times lie ahead for me, like I was broke, not having $49K to give to him. This is a scam, if I could offer these types of returns, I would call all my family and friends. I****ume this guy had neither of these or is running a scam.
My turn, I just my call from them. the guy was nice, but said i had the opprotunity to turn $65K into $500k I told him no thanks and he was shocked
So, how did this company get our information? With the address he had, I wonder if my bank had anything to do with it. Anyone bank at Frost Bank?Lou Shaw was the name of the guy who called me. Hmmmm
Reps from this company, Gulf Coast Western, have called periodically over the last 6 months. As described by others they want investors and will overnight information. I also experienced one of them being rude a couple of months ago. I have a pat reply to phone solicitations of any sort: I don't conduct business of this type with people I do not know. To get rid of him I said send me so****ing. He did. He called back and when I refused to discuss it with him he got angry and lied - said I told him I would talk to him if he sent me materials. I corrected him. Asking to me removed from their calling list is useless. A different person called from the same company two days ago and my husband answered the phone and asked him to send us so****ing in the mail. Sadly, my husband is not fully competent because of 2 ******s, so now the cycle begins a***n with this annoying company. The most recent caller identified himself as Shane Champlin.
Called my home phone. Asked for me by name. Wants me to invest $88,000 in an Oil and Gas deal. I asked why he called me and where he got my number. He said my name and # are on a list of "Active Investors" and he thoutht I would be interested in this deal. I told him to put my # on his Do Not Call list.
I just got a call from this number, and the guy asked for my husband, by name. I told him he wasn't home....asked what he was calling about...he said "I want to introduce my company to him....Gulf Coast Western"....I said I don't think we are interested, and began to **** up, when I heard him saying, "Well, why would you think that...blah blah blah." I ***g up before I heard any more, then got to thinking maybe it was a legit business call and I just blew it for my husband! YIKES! So, I decided to Google the number, and was relieved to find out it's just a junk sales call!!!
This guy was very informative regarding the O & G business. I asked for one of their packages and it arrived the next day. I have decided this may be a real legit company and will probably take advantage of the opportunity with prices like they are, I would love to have a monthly check!
Like call above, we were told we could get a 60k tax deduction for giving them the $ to drill for oil with. I can't help but wonder if they ever get takers...after all, if NO ONE ever gave, they'd stop....so someone, once in a blue moon, must be giving them money, no? Too bad they can't get a real job.
Received call today 6/5/08 @ 11:20AM & Yes****ay 6/4/08 8:45AM came from Caliifornia from Saul M. Sack. He is looking for investor's to invest $66,000 in a high interest contract in an Oil Drilling rigg lease. If you need a $66,000 tax deduction, I guess this is where you put your money and hope you find oil. Otherwise you get the deduction for a dry well. lol
Received call on April 30, 2008 at 9:46 am. Unable to answer my cell phone - in the midst of a planning conference call on my business line. Have no idea who this is, but this number, I have recevied calls from them before. I have no idea who they are, and probably would not answer since this number is a cell number.
I just had a call w/the same scenario as the below caller. However, in the case, I'm the wife...so I, too, must not be smart enough because the caller ***g up on me after I asked if I can help him. I called the company back directly and asked why they are calling. Recept. said it's Gulf Coast Oil and Gas and it was probably a sales person who called from a referral they received. I told her they are definitely going about trying to drum up business the wrong way. This same number has called 2 other times in the last week - this was the first time I answered.
he called and asked for someone that works at a different location. I asked to take a message, and he said he would 'try back later' (apparently not understanding that later doesn't c****e a person's office location).
wife got call from this number. Says he was dave Clark. Would call back.I am on the do not call list.
My wife answered the call and said that I was not home. He told her to tell me that Chip Moore called and would call back. I guess he figured women aren't dumb enough to give him money and ***g up before answering what the call was about.
