Just opened and finalized a Fidelity account. All transactions visible and accurate on my account website. This # called and said "we" forgot to indicate the full amount that I was rolling in to the account, needed my date of birth and social to finalize it. I asked why it all appears correct on the account site then & they said it****umes so, but need the DOB/Soc to finalize it. No way...told them to have my local representative that I opened the account with call me in to the office to discuss this (I do not live in Dallas, the origin of this number...heck I don't even live in TX!)

It's fidelity they only call if you have an account set up online for them!!

I am checking because the number showed up twice today on my cell phone. No one left a VM either time!

We do not know this individual, but he called wanting information about my husband's retirement account.  He identified himself as an employee of Fidelity Investments.

Received a call from 972-443-1960 on my cell phone. The person left a VoiceMail and stated they were from Fidelity.  They also left an 800 number which did ring at Fidelity when I called it. At least this is what the auto attendant says.Not sure why the 972 number is****ociated with Fidelity.  Seems like a lot of searches for this number.  Why wouldn't Fidelity want their number to show up on Called ID ??

Said he was from Fidelity and then asked for my account ID.

Received a call from this number and did not answer.  They did not leave a message.  2nd time this number has called me.

This number left a message but didn't speak.
