Leave a CommentOk This number 876-426-5931 and 876-845-9357 are from Jamaica in Kingston. The operator told me he was part of so****ing called BoldRush or Gold Rush international. They are often RUDE. DON'T GIVE THEM ANY INFO! It seems to me that they are trying to gather info about the people they are targetting. This would make sense since they call so early and catch you at off times. If the name is listed as an internet scam for lottery, it seems they want to gather information. Not sure but I am tired of them constantly calling. I was resear****g them on the web and they called WHILE I WAS RESEAR****G. VERY ANNOYING. I AM JUST GOING TO NOT ANSWER when it says unknown name and number or if its from KINGSTON JM etc. I advise you to not answer as well, OR maybe keep a whistle by the phone haha and screech it every time they call.
I received a call from this number stating that they were Publisher's Clearning House. The first guy said he was representing Anderson Law Firm and that a Prize Patrol car would be coming to my home to give me a check of $500,000 US currency. If we are in the US, why would this guy said US currency? I was very skeptical about the entire thing and stated asking questions. He said that I had entered a sweepstakes and that I had won. He asked if I had a savings account and a checking account. Still very skeptical I told him straight out that I was not going to buy anything or give any money for anything so why was I being asked these questions. The phone conversation s****ed getting more difficult to understand and then a second guy got on the phone verifying that I had won this amount, and stating what the first guy said. I told him also that I wasn't going to pay anything or buy anything. When I asked more detailed questions, the phone call dropped. What I remembered of both those men is that they had kind of a British accent. I was left so uneasy with the call, that I redailed the number. This time a young kid, maybe in HS answered, also with a British accent. He stated that I had the wrong number and not to bother him. I redialed a***n, and this time the kid was even more upset and told me that it was really early, and if I knew how early it was, not to bother him anymore. I immediately asked him, where exactly was I calling to and he said Texas. This was surprising that he said Texas, because we are in the same timezone and it was already 8:10 a.m. It wasn't that early to begin with.I called my phone company to track this number down and they said it was from ISREAL? I don't know anyone in Isreal and became even more su****ious of the call. I am reporting this incident because after that call which came on Friday, 9-5-08, I recieved yet another call from 876-897-5299/866-372-2010/876-426-5931. This time it was an Indian accent stating if I had received a call that I had won so****ing. I said yes I did. I was speaking clearly to him and he to me. He said that I had to pay for the package once I received it. I told him that I didn't feel comfortable about this call and that I wasn't going to pay for anything that I had won. Then after that statement the call ***g up. This is a scam, please beware of these criminals preying on vunerable people and stealing their identies and money.
