Texted me and said they received my application for a data entry specialist wants to pay $27 an hour, sent a nice job offer letter saying they was not able to send the office equipment and they would send a check for me to buy my equipment. Same thing happened to me as all these other comments described except I guess they chose a new company name now. Bio Energy Washington. Which is a legit business possibly, but the website address in the email didn’t match the actual website address.

Received a text message & email from person claiming to be Felicia Hall, HR ***istant at CBM Biopharma regarding my LinkedIn application. I completed an online test on Friday and Tuesday morning I received a job offer. Several red flags going on.

LinkedIn application was viewed for a data entry job

They said they got my application from linkedin and were wanting to interview me. They told me to then email them my resume. Just didn't make sense since if you have my application, you also have my resume already. I go to check the company I applied to on linkedin. That company and the company the HR rep belongs to are not the same company. The representative does not exist. Etc.

Told me they found me on LinkedIn (despite not linking an account), email has no professional photo, the linked site (Immtech Pharmaceuticals) seems like it hasn't been updated since 2008. Sends a job offer a day afterwards with no call, sending a legitimate-looking PDF file but wrought with spelling errors and ***ue descriptions. Mentions that they need to send me money to buy 'equipment' but can only be done through Venmo/Zelle. Gl***door shows no review for the site, BeenVerified returned no info other than "personal email" from the email that was contacting me ("[email protected])
