I got a phone call from (973) 360-2031 on 11/16/11 to my Google Voice #. It didn't ring long enough to route to my mobile phone, and no message was left, of course.

I received a call today on this on my work line. I'm guessing this is so****ing with government ... or a contractor working for the government. They can call every single number in the country and take a digital census. They get your name, your location and whether you exist any more. Think about it ... not too hard to do anymore.

I didn't know who was calling me so I didn't answer glad I had this app to see how many others this number has called this is crazy

so check this out.  so i came home from work yes****ay & saw a call from the 973 area code. so i said, "who the*****'s calling me from jersey (since i knew the area code)?"anywho, i did a reverse search of the number, 973-360-2026, on whitepages online, and it said it was an unlisted # (but i could pay $1.99 to find out who owns the phone #, if i sent a text-to be billed to my cell phone.  ***** that!).  oh yeah, and under the map alerting me to where madison, nj is located (where the call supposedly originated), there's a message in small print "we may notify you of special offers."  kinda makes me wonder if this call is just another way for whitepages.com (and others like this site?) to make money.  i'd rather have some site like that trying to nickle-and-dime me out of $1.99 for info i'm not curious enough to pay for, than to have hackers messing with me and selling my phone number, in the scheme of things.

I to got a call from 973-360-2026 at 10:53:40 A.M. central time, duration was .02 seconds on majic jack info and for some odd reason the # did'nt show up on phones caller ID?

This is an trick and is just like the "war dialers" of old when everyone had modems. They have software that dials automatically a number (obviously set for majic jack users) to see if they have an active line to a computer-they then later on try to hack into your system or they even be as simple as trying to steal the number****igned to resell it to someone else. Don't know the purpose yet, but i'm trying to do a trace it myself (got nutt'in better to do, laid off) so I can see what scheme they are up to. Remember - if you're not scared it's because you don't understand the problem....

This is a ***ND NEW telephone number on my magicjack. There is no possibility that anyone has this number other than my immediate family. It rang in once and disconnected when I grabbed the phone.

this number is also ringing into my magicjack.  I just got this number and there hasn't been time to give it out.  I wouldn't anyway, except to family, so the only thing I can think of is a computer autodialer that is dialing numbers to see who is answering so that telemarketers can call back later.

I GOT A CALLER I/D FROM THIS # AND DIDNT RECOGNIZE IT. THEY DIDNT LEAV A MESSAGE. WHEN I CALLED IT A MESSAGE SAID THAT IT WAS A NUMBER THAT WAS DISCONNECTED OR NOT IN SERVICE. THIS WOULD BE A BILL COLLECTOR CALLING THROUGH A "BLIND LINE" TRICKING PEOPLE INTO ANSWERING THEIR CALL.

actually there is a way to block unwanted calls on the magicjack.  It's called MagicBeans ( http://www.magicjackbeans.com ).  It blocks callers who call yourmagicjack, and does a whole lot of other features like extends your magicjack rings before sending to voicemail...and more.

I have magicjack too and keep getting calls from this number.  Doesn't seem to be a way on the MagicJack to block calls.  Latest call from this number was at 6.05, dinner time of course.

Just got a call to unpublished Magic Jack number, which I answered after the first ring.  The caller ***g up immediately.  It's icky to find out that others have had exactly the same experience from the same number -- 973-360-2026.  I also called the number and supposedly, it's a non-working number.

This was on my work caller ID in Phornix, AZ from Sa****ay, November 15th when I was not at work.  No phone message was left, so must NOT be important.

WHO THEY ARE: Kushner Company Real Estate Investments Group in New Jersey and also an office in New York City.  (973-360-2026,973-360-2031,973-822-0050,212-527-7000)  They are real estate developers and investors.  They can only make money from those who are losing their home.  Whenever the market goes down, they will dial the phone.  When the real estate market is up, they won't call.  They are closely related to a real estate developer which New York city probably knows very well.  This is a guess since his company is related to real estate investment and developement and is the only company in New York which calls the country for the same purpose. At least one of those numbers above has been traced to a well known building in New York city, and all of the numbers are related to each other.   The New York number has been traced and is related to the other numbers. All numbers are traced to the same building, and the name of the building in New York city is named after a well known person and can be guessed by any average American.  That's all I will say about it.  Everyone knows the owner of the company but he probably doesn't know that his employees are calling so many - repeatedly. He is NOT calling you himself.   I am guessing that his employees of his company are calling those who may be interested in real estate investments as a business, and for people who want to bail-out of their home, or both - if their home has become less worth than the mortgage it's probably a good investment to bail out if you are offered money for the home and to take a small loss in the interim.  It's a nice little business and they have the right to call people. But they do not have the right to call and just hand up or call from a number that doesn't ring or just rings once for the purpose of tracing YOUR number. Yes, they are tracing those who may be curious or interested in THEM.Even though they are not being answered, your calls are being tallied for how many are interested or curious and gives them feedback as you call them back.  They will keep calling as long you keep calling them.  They trace YOUR number, while YOU call THEM.  They will keep calling you as long as you keep calling them.If you do not call them, they may call but not as often.  Apparently his employees think they are so rich that they can ignore laws:To get rid of them, ignore them, block them or report them:  Here's how:WHAT TO DO: If you are annoyed by these calls, do the following:  (1)BLOCK ALL NUMBERS: 973-360-2026, 973-360-2031, 973-822-0050, 212-527-7000.   (2) report these call-intrusions to the "do not call list" (www.donotcall.org) (3) DO NOT CALL BACK THOSE NUMBERS.  Then they won't call you - - as often.My personal opinion (which I am en***led to):His employees aren't hired for their brilliant minds - only their looks.  Just because his employees are rich, famous and probably also owns half of New York city - all of that doesn't mean they can ignore calling-laws and keep calling people who are trying to ignore their calls.
