Got a call from the same number. I knew it was a telemarketer when I saw New Jersey Call on my caller ID. She asked to talk to me and I said who's calling, and yes, it was meant to be in a rude manner. She was quiet for a few seconds and said, "You know lady you are rude." And I yelled back so are you! ha ha ha!! If she can't handle it then get out of the business!! Don't know who she was with even. I'm sick of it!
Got phone call from this number, answered and had no response on other line so ***g up.
Very rude, ***g up on me. Tried to call back said phone number disconnected.Hope I get a chance to speak with her a***n. Yellow page scam.
Some one called and didn't say anything after I say*****o, so I ***g up. Lucky I got the caller ID.
Calls around 2 to 5 times a week around 2 p.m. and ****s up.
No message. Inability to return the call. Reported to local authorities as harrasment.
Harrasing call from 973-607-4260
All of these scammers must have boat payments due on the 10th of the month. I can go a couple of weeks without receiving any of these calls. Today I received 5, from different originating numbers (or so the caller ID would indicate). I told one to go F**K herself. The others I just didn't answer.
Amother call from the scammer Yellowpages. She said we want to update your listing and I said you're a scam and she ***g up. LOL
Answered and some woman said, "Tiger, Tiger, is dat be you?" I told her no mam, I'm not Tiger. She s****ed screaming and going nuts telling me that she was going to ***t me down and **** me cause I was messing with her man. Finally I said, just a minute and I'll put him on. I then held the phone up to my **** and greased the phone with a 30 second nagahide r***zberrie. I thought she would have ***g up, but she screamed, "Dat do be you, Tiger... Now youse gets youself home befoe I puts a cap in yo ***zzz!!! Then she ***g up.
Many online complaints about this number. Seems to be a telemarketing scam. I am on DO NOT CALL List.
can some please report this yellow page scam to FCC
This is some yellow pages scam where they call your business and say they will update your listings on different websites for free if you just confirm the info they read to you like your phone number and address. They will then record you saying "yes" and charge you a fee on your next phone bill. When you call to protest the charges they will use the recording of you saying yes as "proof" you approved the deal. The business i work for successfully got the charge taken off, but it took some doing, and we still get the same exact kinda calls every week, although now everyone knows not to say "yes" or anything similar and to just **** up.
I too am getting calls- so far they just do a lot of heavy breathing on the message if they leave one- Times are nuts =not sure what they think they can get out of heavy breathing...
This number has repeatedly called the office that I work at. Due to the nature of our business, we often recieve out of state calls. The first several times this number called there was dead air. Today (12/17) the caller was inquiring about a free ad with Yellow Pages, but when I told him that we were not the business he was trying to reach he said, "Oh, really?" and s****ed talking very explictly referring to ***ual favors and meeting him at a local hotel in New Jersey. I don't know who these people are, but I was very upset by this! I looked up Ameritel Communications corporate office and called them. The woman I spoke with was VERY polite and apologetic. She told me that this is a SCAM and gave me the number for the FCC. I am planning on making a report at my earliest convenience.
They call daily m-f 2 to 3 times a day, no one is ever on the other end. If I answer and **** up, they call right back. Please let this end!!!!!973-607-4260 New Jersey Call248-351-5662 Southfiled MI
Someone from this # has called me twice. Both times they **** up as soon as I say*****o. Tried to call back, but recording states # is disconnected. What a nuisance!
Called me. When I answered they ***g up. I called the number. I got a recorded message that the number had been disconnected. If I get any more calls from them I will contact the Kansas Attorney General
Called 8:30am 11/10/2009 ***gup
CALLS AT LEAST ONCE EVERY DAY. I DON'T ANSWER..
According to the response callback, this number is no longer in service.I wish the FCC would take action, especially when I'm on the DO NOT CALL list
no one in on the other line
just calls and calls and will not answer. perhaps seeing if my house is available to be broken into.
CHECK YOUR PHONE BILLS !!!I just noticed a charge for $42.35 ($39.99 + state tax) on my landline phone bill. On the day this charge posted to my bill, I received a call from this # at 9:30am, lasted 1 min 47 sec. I believe they were trying to SELL me a FREE listing in online yellow pages. I told them "NO, I'm not interested. We don't give out or verify our information over the phone." and politely ***g up. I guess being polite isn't the way to handle people like this. I just called that # and it's been disconnected. Getting this taken care of is going to be so fun! :(
I get this call daily, and like every one else I thought these were going to stop. I want this call stopped. I answer and no one is there.
two calls, **** ups, never say anything
This person was a real fast talker - i kept asking if i was going to receive a bill for this and they kept saying no we would just be receiving a packet verifying our correct info for our free ad. tried to call back but could not get the number - what a scam
REPETEDLY CALL AND **** UP
Rings twice ****s up, can this not be stopped?
I get these calls a couple of times a week, gets annoying. I recognize the number now, so I know to ignore it.
**** calls claims to be with Yellow Pages Internet. Sure. Wants to verify my listing. Needs my name and address. Then wants to sell me a monthly listing on their website and he needs my information recorded to verify my name and address. That's where this reindeer game ended for this scamming a**hole. His little recording is a scam which will be used as evidence you agreed to their listing. Don't be a fool. **** up the phone. Report him to the FTC and don't give him any personal information or you'll be very sorry.
Called and the guy was an idiot " Yo - What's up - You know I love you guys at __Insert My Company Name but*****ounced wrong__, right" and then ***g up. *69 gave me this number. When I dialed I was told the number was disconnected...
this person calls once a week, and i now believe this to be a scam, they are trying to steal peoples credit card numbers by impersonating the yellowpages and convincing businesses to buy ads.
shows up as a New Jersey call. No answer, **** up.
Answered call from this number and it immediately ***g up. I called it back and got a recording "the number you have dialed is no longer in service, if you feel you've reached this number in error, **** up and try a***n". I called the right number because I redialed it right from my phone. Our ph number is a business.
Shows up as Ameritel communications, LLC 55 Blackwell St. Near Chicago, but shows up as a New Jersey Call. No answer, **** up.
He just called here and sang "if you like pina coladas" and ***g up. I don't know what the point was or why someone would prank call in this age of caller ID.
Caller said he was from Internet yellow pages to update the listing of our organization. I said we had no yellow pages listing. He said yes we do, and that he knew the vice president of the organization himself. I asked who that might be. He gave me a name I'd never heard of, Mary somebody, and I informed him that no such person was affiliated with us. He said I was incorrect. I asked him to delete the listing and not to call a***n. He said, "Oh, sweet Mary." I ***g up.
IDer showed Ameritel Comm. She's a little snippy ***** that talks 1000mph and as soon as you're on to her, she ****s up on you just as fast as the little **** talks. **** - (slang) offensive term for a ******* who is noticeably masculine ...
Calls our company at least once a week. No one on the line. Very annoying. It just shows up as New Jersey on the caller ID.
Called 9/2/09 at 1?22 pm PDT and I let the answering ma****e pick up. Left no message. This # has dialed our office many times before. I thought as of 9/1/09 these calls were suppose to cease.
they talked so fast you could not understand them.... then they said thank you we will send it to you... then ***g the phone up
I wish these bullsh-t calls would stop
stated they were calling about my listing in yellow pages. ***g up on em.
solicitaion for yellow pages. NEVER use the word "yes" when you do talk to any of them to answer any question. use words or phrases such as "that is correct". if you can keep these creeps on the phone for a while, letting them know that you are really on to them, then the calls will stop.
DID NOT ANSWER.
Shows up as a missed call. But it is busy when you call it back.
Dead air. We hesitate not to answer phone calls with odd IDs because of the nature of our business (some listed as "blocked" or "unknown caller" actually turn out to be****ential clients) but are getting really sick of these.
constantly call and **** up. We are on the do not call lists a lot of good they do.
No Message Left - Caller ***g Up- calls at least once a week or more
Answered and no one there. Dead silence. Waited almost a full minute before ****ing up. Called the number back and could not even get a ring. May be robocall looking to s**** a number, perhaps.
