First, when they call you, the number is dialed automatically, then is transferred to a person when you answer. That is why it takes a couple seconds (+/-) of you saying "hello?  hello?" before someone comes on.  Sometimes the call gets dropped during the transfer.They are a collection agency that contracts for many different credit card companies.There are many of these agencies.We have been getting calls about every 2 weeks for about 2 months for my spouse's former roommate,who has not lived here for over 13 years.  I have asked them over and over to remove our phone number.I have called their customer service number at 800-655-1491 to have the number removed.They were very nice, but said they had no record of our number in their system.I am writing a letter to them at the address the last caller gave me:FIA card Service******x 15026Wilmmington, De 19850-5206I will also send a copy to the address given on their web site:FIA Card Service******x 982235El Paso, Tx 79998-2235And I will be sending a copy to our attorney

Collection Agency calls for multiple lenders to include Wachovia, Bank of America, etc

Called at 8:20 in the morning. No message. No idea who they are.

It's not a bank of america number, do not give any info, they just called me this morning and i was hesitant, sounded shady, any way i contacted bank of america right away and they verify it's not their number
