Wanted to buy a day cab truck listed on CimmercialAutoTrader. Couldn’t wit money only send a cashier’s check drawn on PNC. Wanted me to take down the ad. Would have it picked up and would include the fee in the check he sent to me. Wanted my cell phone number. I was ****** and sent address even though my intuition told me it a scam.

Same as the other reports. Wants my lawn mower, will pick it up later, wants my address to send a check. They always send another person to pick it up.

Contacted me about purchasing a motorcycle I have on Autotrader. Turns out to be some kind of a nut or maybe a wild dreamer or maybe even a scammer.

Autotrader scam, exactly the same message as those who have posted before. This person is either making money doing this or he has a serious ******logical problem. FBI should grab him based upon the complaints on this site going back at least a couple of years!

Asking for communication outside of Autotrader similar to what others have said. wisdomizedy655@ gmail.com was the email given and it immediately set off red flags for me.

Happened to me too. I insisted he send me a copy of his driver's license. Was from Arkansas. Seemed su****ious from day one - and it was through an AutoTrader ad. Email was [email protected].
