Leave a CommentI got a call from this # with a recorded message saying that my credit card was in danger. Asked me to press 1 to talk to a "live agent that could help me lower my interest rates". I don't have a credit card.
So sick of these credit card scammers.
I received a phone call from this number on December 22, 2014 at around 3:18 PM (central time). There was a prerecorded message on the other line claiming that they could lower my credit card rate, although they did not specifically identify which credit card company. The automated message said to press 1 to speak with an live individual. Upon pressing 1, I was greeted by a male voice (spoke English with an accent). I asked that they identify themselves, at which point he said he was with Capital One credit card services. I replied I did not have an account with capital one and he immediately ***g up. I am reporting this scammer so that others are aware and can avoid having their iden***y/credit card information stolen.
Didnt answer the call but they didn't leave a message. ******ed.
Wouldn't say their company name and when I told him to take me off their list he rudely ***g up on me. Ugh!
Called but I did not pick up. What the heck?
Same as Tony. Spam call about reducing credit card interest rates. Hate these companies.
Robo-call stated that they were seeking to reduce the interest rate on "your credit card," but did not list a specific credit card company.
