The caller posing as someone who accidentally called me thinking it was someone else. Wendy is the name they used to strike up a personal conversation. My name is not Wendy and I do not live in Santa Monica Beach or *****chusetts. I have been ***ue in my dialogue and have only given them false information. They sent me photos of a girl with her dogs and stated their name was Evelyn. "Evelyn" said she lives in Santa Monica Beach, but the area code for this number is a *****chusetts number. I have entertained the conversation with false information as I wanted to see their approach in trying to phish for my information. The message s****ed with "Hey, how is life". Obviously, I didn't recognize the number and neither did my phone, so I knew it was illegitimate. I wish there was a way to stop this type of information phishing.
