I called # back and they put me on the Bank of America no call list....for those of you who would like this!

I received a call from this number for the first time today. They asked me to confirm my iden***y and I refused, instead asking them who they were and what they wanted. The responses were garbled, as though the call was coming from a very cheap phone. Here's what I could glean:Bank of AmericaIden***y Theft

Called me today, old lady, sounds like accent of a low-educated person :)Asked me, is the name is correct. I didn't answer and requested who is calling.She said she's from credit company calling on behalf of Bank of America.I said: no, you dialed the wrong number.She apologized and said she will correct their records.I saved this number as "Bank of America SCAM".Let's see if there will be any more calls with the same scenario. If there will be any, next time I'll kindly and politely ask the operator, do they realize that they work for criminals and will go to jail when get caught. Think Echelon system, voiceprint technology, etc.May be silly, but I want to see what the response will be ;-)

If you have google voice, the calls are most likely forwarded from there. I just found that out. I am deactivating GV from forwarding as of now. The only thing they have brought me since I signed up were these annoying calls.

call frequently, finally picked up after 2 months, confirmed my iden***y then ***g up.  Caller ID says Bank of America, but I think they might be an iden***y theft group.

They have been calling me repeatedly.  Oddly, they ask for the name of my neighbor.

its from bank of america and the people are trying to sell iden***y theft and ask you to confirm information about your account...very bizarre and will not take no for an answer!!!

I've gotten calls from this number for the last few days. My caller ID says its Bank Of America. I never pick up and they never leave a message.

Always calls my house asking for me, then when I pick up, no one is there, It is stressful and if they keep calling, I will find out who it is, and i will make it stop

Call every day. never leave a message. when answered, no one is on the other side.

From Lowell MA. Calls every day and no one is ever there.
