Received several calls from 978-767-8677.  When I picked up there was silence.

I also got several calls from this Danvers number. I usually never answer the phone unless I know who is calling (caller ID), but this number kept coming up so I finally answered.  Asking me to donate money, inarticulate s***ch, kept having to ask her to repeat herself.  Finally told her to put me on their do not call list.  Does anyone actually donate money to these types of people over the telephone?

I got a similiar call yes****ay afternoon, the caller ID said "Danvers".  The woman calling was very articulate.  She said that she was from Medallion, the company that supports the Special Olympics.  I've never heard of this company before.  I said I couldn't help and ***g up.  I am so sick of people calling my house, interupting my day, and asking me for money.

I too thought the call was a little su****ious the way it was handled and the lack of information provided so I told the gentleman that I spoke to that I did not know a Thomas Alexander which is the name he used and I ***g up.  I immediately called the number 978-767-8677 and got a recording saying the call could not go through.  I tried it several times and using a 1 in front of the 978 and still got the same recording.

A young black lady with a very thick southern accent called and asked me to donate to the Special Olympics. I asked her for the name of the company she was working for and she gave me its name but I could not understand what she told me because her voice became unintelligible. It was like she was trying to hide the name or so****ing. I asked multiple times but could still not decipher the name of the company. She said it was "EDIA" or so****ing like that. The call sounded extremely su****ious. To begin with, there was a lot of static on the phone line and it sounded like somebody was eavesdropping. I told her to put me on the "do not call" list and she handed the call over to the manager. The manager has hopefully added me to the "do not call" list.
