Received a Voicemail 04/28/2016, 12:49 PM, stating that the call was from the Dept of Treasury and that it was my 2nd notice and this legal issue needed to be addressed immediately. The name left on message was Steve Moddard (sp ?) The person calling was of foreign descent if the voice was any indication. Did not return call.

This person is obviously a scammer. But a ****ty one at that because she revealed she was in ****stan but claimed to be US Treasury.

This woman has an at***ude other than being a scam artist. She is a ****ty person.

Someone from this phone number (Steve) called saying he was from the US Treasury, when attempted to call back, the phone was answered by "Jenny" and she asked for information. When I suggested a scam she said to **** up. When we called back a second time, the woman ("Jenny") said do no disturb me. At this point, we thought it was hilarious messing with them. The third time we called back (trying to get ahold of Steve) she said she would get him and ***g up the phone on us.

They seem to take offense to being called bedwetting goat***kers.

Just receive a call from this number. Was an Indian person saying they were from the Dept of Treasury and that I filed my taxes incorrectly. Said I owe over $5,000 and that if I didn't pay, I would be arrested immediately and I would lose my job. Said there was a warrant out for my arrest.

Was told I will be arrested within 45 minutes. ?

I will NEVER trust a phone call from "government agencies". IF they really wanted to get in touch with me, they would 1. know my name. 2. leave their name. 3. send notice via US Postal Service, usually certified mail. This is pathetic that people try to steal from the public. DO NOT BELIEVE THESE CALLS!

how is this allowed in the us ??? originates from Texas --- claiming there is legal action pending a***nst me by the treasury department.....how is this permitted to continue in this country????? I'm tempted to ***t them down myself
