"Phil Read" (caller ID 979-774-1287 .. and others) will not leave a message but continues to call back.  Best advice is to answer and ask them to identify themselves fully; ask about "Phil Read".  Do not continue the conversation unti lsatisfied - this is common phone & business courtesy.  My caller said Read is the owner of their company; they are soliciting ads/underwriting for my local high school booster club.  After 4 kids going to that high school, it must either be a new thing or a scam.  If wanted to contribute, I would only do so after getting so****ing in the mail & checking with the BBB & school.  In this case, I asked them to put me on their no call list (a federal law).  Sometimes I lecture such callers on the lack of etiquette not leaving a message nor failing to first identifying themselves when calling.
