Computer repair service calling for techs to go run jobs for them. THEY DO NOT PAY THEIR TECHS - AVOID!!!

I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. If they were Barrister, I did one job for them 12 years ago where I was paid like $50 (no gas) to drive an hour away and fix someone's computer. Even after telling them to take me off their list they called me for years. I hadn't heard from them in several years, so if they're back to calling me, that's pretty egregious.

Call came in as Barrister Global Services but it was legit. I requested Dell Technical support for my laptop. They were a service provider calling to confirm the appointment. They called several times but never left a voicemail. I finally picked up and talked to the rep.

They asked if we (a small town local computer repair shop) do service calls to a bigger city that is over an hour drive away. I told him no and he ***g up.

It's some type of call center. They've called me twice in the last hour and they dont say anything, but I can hear the other callers talking in the background.

Read previous comments, people. The company is Barrister Global, a contracting company. Either you or the previous phone number owner signed up with them. If you're not affiliated them, just answer and say that you're the new phone number owner or someone had the wrong number. If you used to work with them, just delete your account or c****e your service number to an IP phone.

Called my office twice within one minute and left messages: #1: a recording of my outgoing greeting. #2: a recording of an****ociate company outgoing greeting. Somewhat interesting and mildly annoying.

Legit company

I declined the call, but after working for the company doing gig work they keep on rea****g out.

This is a legal company that connects field technicians with companies that need a contractor, like TV repair work, etc. I have done work for them. They are legit.

They called me I called them back guy answered confused and didn’t know what to say. Said company was Barry star? If legit company? They need better call techs.
