(201) 373-8332

This is a new one on me - the Ca***ian call center. I have been wat****g Feature Films for Families of Murray, Utah and Dove Foundation, a non-profit of Grand Rapids, MI for a while now. Maybe this is how they continue to skirt the rules - make the calls from Ca***a rather than the USA. Just look up the Wikipedia entry for Dove Foundation and get a good rundown of what this is all about. Also read the previous versions of the Wikipedia entry for Dove Foundation, because someone keeps going in there and deleting the 'dirt'.

11:53 AM, Feb. 13, 2008 got a call from these people.  The have another number that calls me also, it's a Michigan number but the same company name: Feature Films For Families.How do they get our cell phone numbers?  Or are they just inputing random numbers hoping to get lucky?

I thought it might have been a bill collector.

Noticed the comments are ended July 07.  Just received a series of calls on my cell phone in Jan 08.  Is this back in service?  Where do I report abuse?

Keep getting calls from this number on my cell as does my husband on his.  We do  not give out our cell number and would like to block this if possible.

I agree with you Adam!What I found is that this number actually belongs to an organization called Feature Films For Families.  I contacted this number (tried a number of times actually) and finally got through.  Long story short...  this number took me to a call center based out of Barrie, Ontario.  The Customer Service Representatives there can do two things for you.  1. Enter your number into the "Do Not Disturb" database to have it stricken & 2. C****e the time of day the auto-dialers contact your home (apparently some people WANT this service - right...).This organization uses a slew of numbers around the states to harass private citizens.  I also found the following:Lucre, Inc.Grandrapids, Michiganhttp://www.lucre.net/contacts.htmThey lease the line to this company.  I have verified this through my phone service provider and contacted them with a message to report the abuse.I wish the powers that be (the CRTC for example) would listen to the public and just outlaw such practices.  Then a***n, perhaps not enough of us citizens are concerned enough to get together and put an end to this ****!  At the very least we know you and I aren't alone.  LOL

I receive a phone call from this same number 201-373-8332 atleast 3 times a day.  I answered once and was asked if I am 'the woman' of the house.  I ***g up right away because I figured it was a telemarketer...I literally just had them call a***n.Vancouver, BC

have caller id, called back, woman answered, asked if calling long distance, said yes, customer service woman said someone would call back..?? googled # and found this..i'm near windsor, ontario

Just got a call from them 201-373-8332 at 6:25 pm July 26th.  I picked up the  woman asked to speak to the lady of the house and i just ***g up on her. I'm in Northern Ontario, Ca***a

Got a call from these guys at 12:15 pm yes****ay.  Didn't answer, glad I didn't.

We have just received the same kind of call as we did from the number 978-720-0040. The caller (women) asked for lady of the house, then the man of the house, but when asked what is this regarding, she ***g up.  The call was placed from New Jersey and we are in Kelowna, BC, Ca***a.
