meme They are trying to sell you a magazine subscription, however, you do not receive the magazine but they call a***n and a***n wanting their money, and I told them I want to cancel my subscription since I have received nothing and they say you can't. They made 8 calls within 2 days to try to collect, they absolutely refuse to cancel or withdraw and on the last call threatened to send my account to the collection agency, with an amount that I have never purchased from them or have anything from them. It is even more than what they told me the magazine would be

The company that is calling you is Pacific Web Works. You should call a lawyer as they are bound by the TCPA Act which prevents them from calling a cell phone. The TCPA Act states that they can be liable for $500-$1500 per call. I received a call from 201-537-2224 on 11/08/2010 at 9:49 A.M. The call has been recorded forboth date and time. If the calls continue, they will be reported to the Chief of Police in Hackensack, New Jersey, the area from which the calls are originating. Please keep a record of the date and time of each call you receive. If we compile our data and forward it to the Chief of Police in Hackensack, I think we can get these kinds of harassment calls stopped. The police are usually very helpful in eliminating this kind of thing from private telelphones. If that doesn't work, please send your data to the Attorney General for the state of New Jersey. It will likely be forwarded to the police in Hackensack for settlement. I have been getting calls from them on my answering ma****e with no message left. I never had a school loan. Some years ago someone with the same name as mine failed to pay the final payments on his car.
201-537-5603. I have received about 30 calls from this # over the last few weeks. I don't answer calls with #'s that I don't recognize. NO message is left either. Very annoying. Better Business Bureau is my next call.

Got a call from 201-537-5333 and they left a voice mail but it was just dead air. Some days several times a day same thing dead air. caller id said unavailable. Why won't they just say what they want instead of leaving an empty voice message? It's annoying it they want so****ing they should say who it is and what the heck they want. and the 1 time I called the number I got dead air too. So it's not as if I can return their call because of that. 1 time I answered and they ***g up. I don't owe anyone any money or surely they would say so****ing instead of leaving dead air on people voice mail.

This guy calls 2 or times a day and doesn't leave any type of voicemail...when I finally answered the call at 9pm!!!! he tried to pop an at***ide...and wouldn't tell me who he was/calling on behalf of/what he wanted...totally rude...I thought it was illegal for so called bill collectors to be calling your home and harrassing you after at ungodly hours?!
