Got the call also today. I knew it was a scam but hit #1 anyway just for the fun of it. A woman answered and I asked for her name. She said Marie. I told her my number was on the DNC list, as has been for years. Let me quote her words to me before she ***g up, "We don't have a copy of the DNC list, so our calls are legal." Ain't that a hoot? Ya just can't fix ****** :)

pre-recorded message about credit card rates. I haven't got one of these types of calls in ages, and I don't recall giving my phone number out recently -- other than hotmail. I reached an email limit and had to reply to a text message to continue emailing.

these spammers need to be locked up !

says they are with card member services and want to help me lower my credit card debt. when i press 1 to talk to a person, they ask if i want to lower my credit card debt. Unwanted daily calls on cell number from company calling themselves "Account Service". Call s****s with automated message. When I reach a live voice and ask to have my number removed from their list they rudely **** up. This has happen three times

I heard a recorded message saying they had attempted to contact me numerous times about my credit card account. They only identified themselves as Cardmember services. When an agent came on the line to ask me if I were interested in lowering my interest rates, I said, "I was just staying on the line to see who was calling me". He promptly ***g up without answering me.

Constant calling while asleep. Ends up being bogus credit repair scam. Answering ma****e is a fake out of service recording.

I quit answering calls that have no name but this must be a telemarketer - Do Not Call lists don't mean much anymore, probably never did.

Another Credit Card Telemarketer. I called the number and it said the call did not go through, please try a***n later.

They called my cell phone it was a pre-recorded message wanting to lower my credit cards. I pressed 1 to talk to a live represenative to put my name on the do not call list. when they came on the line I told him to put me on the do not call list and it was illegal to call my cell phone. He told me it was not illegal and I was the JACK A#@ that pressed #1 and ***g up.

Called about lower interest. I aske who this was and them they ***g up.

Call continuously. Won't identify who they are. Say that this is the last time they will make this offer to consolidate cards. Said that when I got my cell I elected not to be on the no call list. ***g up on me when I demanded to know who they were.

Recorded message about closing the file on this matter, they have notified me several times. But they have not!

Caller said so****ing about last chance to lower my interest rates. She did not identify herself. I ***g up. Only way to deal with this kind of nuisance.

Purpose of repeated calls are to "lower my interest rate". When I ask to be placed on DNCall list, I am either ***g up on or completely ignored. In the last call, I asked 8 times and was completely ignored. I repeatedly asked to speak to supervisor and a***n was completely ignored.

I do not give my cell # to anyone and it is very frustrating that I'm being hounded in my pocket its completely absurd I never listen to these calls it is a waste of company finances

Calls me every half an hour! Tried to call back to stop the calling and they don't answer. If I do get the person I s**** to tell them to not call, but they **** up before I can finish.

Did't pick up the beep when I was on the other line. They called twice one right after another. When I called the number back I just got a beeping noise like it was a disconnected line. Possibly a ***** number to hide scammers true whereabouts.

Didn't answer, looked at # on internet had all kinds of complaints...called it back immediately to advise them not to call a***n and I get a reording that # is no longer in service

On my phone it said Etrade and when I listened to the automated system it said this is your last and final warning. Tried to call back,but no human response.

Got a call from these scanners. They just made the top of my list for rudest tellemarketer. After telling me there offer I asked I can be put on the do not call list. The ladies response was  I don't know, can I ? Absolutely rude

Same thing, but when I asked who she was with she said Equifax, and then we were disconnected.  I'm calling equifax to see if this was a valid call, I'll repost with the info.

Called with a great offer to reduce my credit card rate! Excitedly pressed 1 to be connected with a customer service rep.. When a rep came on he stated they wer "Card Member Services" for Visa and Mastercard. Was I interested in a rate reduction. I asked for their business address... after about a 2 second pause.. the Customer Service Rep disconnected the call.. Go figure. Must have been so excited at the prospect of giving out the business address that he accidentally ***g up his phone. Oh welll. my loss I guess.

Have gotten calls from this group multiple times now, very annoying.  I pressed 1 to talk to someone and asked her which card this was in reference to.  She said, "Your Visa, Mastercard, or American Express that you are trying to lower your interest rate on."  I then said, "No, which card since you've sent me multiple notices."  She said that she didn't have access to that since they are only a qualifications department.I then told her that didn't make sense and to do me a favor and take my number off their list.  She responded with, "Noooo I can't do you a favor..." and ***g up.Nice.

Just, another, phishing, TeleMarketing, strategy. Enjoy yourself by engaging them. Try to keep them on the phone as long as possible. Act "Mentally Challenged"... Trick them into saying embarrassing things, etc. I like to run a Table Saw while talking to them. I run the Saw, at the exact instance,  I am giving them important info, such as my name, address, credit card number, etc.. Each time they ask me to repeat it, I do (Saw and all).  It's a lot of fun if you use your imagination!

CANT CALL THIS NUMBER BACK VERY ANNOYING WISHED I COULD GET IN TOUCH WITH THEM AND BUG THE **** OUT OF THEM FOR A WHILE.

I got this message a few ttimes too and i pressed 1 and this lady s****ed talking to me and as soon as she heard the investigative tone in my voice she just ***gup. Tried calling back but it just said unknown database.

Just called me...Supposedly some unknown (ie they didn't say) credit card company that has tried to contact me "several times" regarding lowering my % rate on all my cards. You could press 1 to speak to an operator...because if it was that important a person just wouldn't call. Hope no one falls for this.

They just keep calling one of my cell phones. Since no one in my home will answer an unknown number or masked number, I have no information as to what they want.
