I got a message from my boss that said call officer peter Bell @201-984-1937 it is a legal matter and they keep calling my work all the time what can I do I need them to stop calling my work all the time

as of 3/12/09 @8:13a Ofcr Peter Bell call and left message. on the caller ID it show a

"Anne Williams" left a message which said "Please call us before so****ing goes wrong with you" which is clearly a threat. They call themselves Federal Investigations Agency, which is not only misleading, but misrepresenting oneself as State or Federal is a violation of the Federal Fair Debt Collections Act. They refuse to give out their mailing address, which is necessary so an alleged debtor can exercise their right to a Debt Validation do***ent.They called my mom's number, and she felt threatened by them. We ALL have to put the heat on these people. They've disrupted my life and hurt my productivity at work. I have an idle daydream where I'd pay money for a plane ticket to stand outside their office as they're hauled off in handcuffs. I'd be sure to introduce myself and announce my pleasure at making their acquaintance.

Office Roy Martin, Office David Cooper, Office Adam Smith. I get calls all the time and I have Reported them to the FTC.

Put a fraud alert on your ssn#, call Experian and they will forward it to the other 2 companies! It's all automated. I've filed a complaint with the FTC, FBI, BBB, Houston's Attorney General, my home state Attorney General, my local FBI, my local secret service and am currently consulting with my lawyer!

I've received harassing calls from these people, and one of them said they were a outlet of "SJM Marketing." But when I called that company, the rep told me this: these people are an outfit that preys on those who've applied for but been declined a loan with SJM. They therefore have your contact information and other stuff. It also means you may not owe a cent.

I have received several calls from this number and he is officer Roy Martin. Talking about putting block on my ssn.  I am reporting them to the police, attorney general since I work for a state office. I have told them to stop calling and that I am recording their conversation so he c****ed the number but believe me I know that voice.

This person calling me saying he is a police officer called 2/27/09. Told me that if I didnt call him back immediately I would have so****ing "bad" happen to me.

Here's a little more information-they say they are calling from the Crime Division of the FBI...accuse you of internet bank fraud-taking a payday loan and not paying it back...they usually have all of the correct information-SS, DOB, bank account number, however, can never tell you the name of the payday lender-will rattle off about 5-10 different companies...when you press for the actual payday lender's name they tell you they cannot release that information to you as this is a legal matter!  theya re very rude-do not speak English-sorry this may sound like I am discriminating-I'm not its just the way it is- and the phone connection is never clear and they speak very low.

I have rec'd 2 calls from this number-one late yes****ay afternoon and just 10 minutes ago.  I had our receptionist put him into my voicemail.  The message is very broken up-he does not speak clear English so very difficult to understand-gave name as Frank Harris.  Basically threatened to have me arrested.  I have had numerous calls such as this, not necessarily this phone number- claiming I took out a payday loan and did not pay it back-the bank information is always for a bank account I closed several years ago.  And the loan is always at least 2 years old.

I have called attorney general's office.  I have also filed a police report A***N.  I have put fraud alerts on my SS# and credit reports.  I will file complaints as needed.

Call # back and it was now Adam Smith on the phone who threathend to download so****ing to my ssn. Adam asked me to type up a payment authorization form and fax it over to him.

I have reported these people to FTC, and I notified an attorney, I haven't heard from them since 2/12/09.  Hope this works.

I received a call from these people as I previously mentioned on 2/12/09, I have reported them to the FTC, and other federal organizations, I don't know what will happen at this point, but as someone else mentioned continute to report them. They haven't called me sine than, but I'm****uming the eventually they will and I will report them a***n.  These are harrassing calls.

A man by the name of Robin Williams called saying that I filed for a payday loan online, which I DID NOT!!! And claims that there is a lawsuit a***nst me, PLEASE CAPTURE THESE PEOPLE!!! I will be waiting for a response from this complaint. Thanks!

total fraud. Mark Roberts called me and told me the police would be coming to get me due to a debt i owed? Interesting as I don't have any debt. If they call you please file a complaint with the FTC.

Call them back and give them any attorneys name. find one in the phone book. Also, please report them to the FTC. They are huge scammeres. Also, ask them to provide proof of debt. that will get them off the phone quick

they call and say they are officers representing/investigating payday loans that are unpaid and want to make arrangements to get it paid and if not charges will be made if not good luck the payday loan they say they are representing was paid off ?if this is fraud

I just received a message from this number asking for my sister who doesn't work here. I am reporting them right now....

A woman with a thick accent left a message - half of what she was saying was unintelligible. But at the end she said "Please call me before so****ing goes wrong with you." which is unambiguously a threat. I've submitted a complaint with the FTC.

They are scammers - just report them to the FBI & your state Attorney General.  For some reason they go into 'hiding', find another number to use & go right back to harassing people.  It used to scare me but now I just go through the same process of reporting them each time they call.

have gotten 35 calls in 15 minutes from this number,,,,a man with a foreign accent  leaves a message which you cannot understand......No clue who it is blocked the number and they are calling from 415-880-5999call.  call the number and get a busy signal.   This is true harrassment.    Think I have heard his voice before.....want money but not willing to give paperwork to prove who they are until I pay the bill......I am not sending anyone money until I have proof they are collecting for the company I owe....Is there somewhere I can report this yahoo....

Call back number that is left is 201-984-1937They call my office and work and say things like.."if you ignore this call God can only help you" and "who knows what will happen to you at home or at your job" One of the recorded coversations they do not use my name...but all say that so****ing bad has happened with my social security number.  They said they are US Crimes so****ing  and Federal Investigations or so****ing . VERY Heavy accents..hard to know what they are saying.If you call them back they will not tell you what they want ...they ask questions of YOU! One of the calls was my number...but wanting a different name.I turned them in to the FTC and spoke to the Attorney General but  they are still calling. It's very disturbing that they are calling my work.FBI says they have no jurisdiction over these people because they are outside of the USWHAT CAN WE DO??????

I have had the same phone number call my cell and say the same thing about a payday loan depoisted into my Bank of America account.Threating me that there was a warrent out for my arrest. I called the police department and they said they are FRAUDS and calling from South Africa. I also call the FBI after they threatened harm to me and my family. They call from different numbers and c****e there names. I wish Level 3 Communations would terminate there business with these people. They are targeting people in New England, Califorina and Florida.

Nicole called my husband at work claiming to be with the Federal Bureau Investigators. She claimed we have an outstanding payday loan from 1QuickCash or 1ClickCash, anyhow never heard of company. I did not verify any info. and told them my wife would call back. She did and spoke with Nicole Walker and a Jack Thompson. Both hard to understand. He threatened her with so****ing would happen. She knew right away it was fraud because that's not how business is conducted. Anyhow, these people are frauds and need to get a job. Put talents where they can be used for good and not bad. Be aware, they are fakes!

They use the nameand called my OFFICE and said they are Nicole Walker and told my receptionist it was a Federal investigator!

the called me at my work place and left a nasty message, the individual said she was officer stacy brooks of the USB or UFB, Im not sure which and that she is gettin a warrant to have me arrested at my home, and at than she said I took out a loan in 2007, and the amount is 300 dollars but with interest for the last two years now I owe 1,000 dollars. and I needed to find a way to pay. she never said who, but she gave me all my information about myself and my family. i still was never told who this company was. i was to call her back, but instead I seek help with an debt collection lawyer for help.

I received a call today regarding the same number at this person says she is a police officer, and I owe a debt from 12/07. And I need to pay if off or she will be sending the cops to my home. It sounds like an indian accent and lots of noise in the background.  But they won't tell me who I suppose to owe this money to, but yet they had all my information about this loan.

HE PROCEEDED TO TELL MY HUSBAND THAT HE WAS AN OFFICER CALLING TO COLLECT THE DEBT AND NOW WITH INTEREST HE OWED $2000.00 AND WANTED OUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER.mY HUSBAND ***G UP ON HIM. 1. WE NEVER APPLIED FOR A $300.00 LOAN. 2. NO MONEY WAS EVER DEPOSITED INTO A BANK OF AMERICA ACCOUNT. 3. I CALLED THE BANK AND NO $300.00 WAS DEPOSITED INTO OUR ACCOUNT. 4. I CALLED THE SHERIFFS OFFICE TO CHECK IF THERE WAS A WARRENT OUT FOR MY HUSBANDS ARREST.

Called @ work, couldn't understand. Gave me a case # and 2019841937 phone number. Told him I couldn't understand what he was saying. Adam got on and said do you have your case # and said so****ing, I couldn't understand and ***g up. Just received voice message from John, saying urgent legal problem and good luck. I can't understand him

Caller calls my place of employment leaving messages that i need to call him regarding my name and social. it doesn't sound legit and you can barely understand the indian accent. lots of background noise.

he called me at work to tell tell that i was on a suspect list. He was very hard to understand saying that i owe a $2500.00 debt of bank of america.

This a very well known scam! DO NOT respond nor send them any money. You can go online and file a complaint with the FBI or with your state attorney general's office. Repeat, you CANNOT be arrested for failing to pay a debt. They often will call and then stop when the authorities are on to them and then they will s**** up a***n months later with different telephone numbers and iden***ies.

This number keeps calling me at work.  I have not taken the call but they say they are with US Crimes.  Does anyone have any info on what they want.  I think it is bill collector because they (the caller) has a very strong accent and seems suspious.

this number has called my cell phone numerous times looking for someone else. i have had the same number for 4 years and have continuosly told them the person they are looking for is not at this number yet they continue to call

Called claiming I owed money on a pay day account, telling me if I didn't pay $12000 in 3 hours I was going to be arrested at 3:30 and put in prison for 15 years. I have never even got a payday loan. I contacted FBI they said he is a scammer.

Got a call from this number. The caller left no voice message.
