I received an email solicting babysitter for $600 week for two boys.  He attached a photo of them.  In one email he says they are 7 and in another he says they are 4.  I got su****ious when he stated he would be giving me extra money to pay a store manager for his sons' toys.  Don't get it.  I've travelled alot with work and for a 6 week stint, doesn't make sense.  He left this phone number on his email.201-984-7***

I have received several emails all from different people.  They are praying on gullible models just s****ing out that may not know any better.  They have found me on several modeling sites & the emails are from different people, but the same type email.  When they told me they would send me the studio fee to pay the studio & that they would provide the address where to send the fee, I knew right then it was a scam.  They want you to deposit a bad check & then immediately send payment to the "studio".  I pretended to be dumb & told them I don't use checks, onle debit cards & why couldn't they pay the studio direct. Wow, my husband just rec'd the same modeling **** from someone who calls himself John Ambruz.  He was told he'd receive over $1200 to model some clothing. All of a sudden, we get a check in the mail for over $2800 asking us to deposit this **** in our bank, take out what's owed and send the rest to ***** supervisor via western union. I found it funny in the letter that at one point the*****oun used for the superviser was"her" and later on they said "his." Come on people which is it if you're going to run a scam you'd better proofread. The check was also listed in with the names of a married couple who were supposedly so called sponsors from IL, but when I google their name the city the was correct but the state was FL.  If they were legit they would have the bank list the correct state on their check. Please don't fall for this mess.  God bless all of you who made comments about this fraud, thank you so much!

Please don't put those checks into your accounts!!!They are most likely fraudulent(even though they may look real).My husband almost made the same mistake while trying to sell a stroller on Craigslist a supposed "buyer" sent a check in the amount that was WELL over the amount he listed the stroller for.The person also asked him to deduct the money for the stroller and send the balance via Western Union.In the end it was a fraud...google western union/check frauds and you will see for yourself!

I just received a check for 2895.80 and I was told to deposit the check into my account. I also was told to deduct the amount that was owed to me and then send a western union amount to some other person.

They emailed me as well... I gave them my name and address and I got a check delivered from UPS in the amount of $2,981.81... I tried calling them this afternoon and it says the number is disconnected. I don't know what I should do. Any suggestions?

Yes I just got the same email this morning for a "Peter Parker" I've been resear****g him for the past hour and came across this site. He is offering me $1900.00 for a photo***** with a "client". After reading all your posts I was quite curious so I emailed him a few questions to see if he responds. Thanks for all of your comments on this number and situation. this chris bently sent me a certified check . wanted me to cash and tell me what to do next. the check didn't look right so i took to my bank it was a fraud.he wants me to send money to bring his daughter here from wisconsin.im not  even sure he has a daughter .

While I might not have received a call from this number, I did however, receive it as contact information that was emailed to me with a supposed job offer I received on a website that caters to actors and models seeking work.A guy by the name of "Peter Parker," claiming to be a freelance photographer / modeling agent (alas, not from 'The Daily Bugle') emailed me a fashion modeling gig that would pay $200 an hour, no ****** and the sort of thing that some beginning actors / actresses do in fact look for. He also claimed that his work had been published by many well-known establishments, Kodak being one that was named.What did not seem kosher about this "fellow" was primarily the name "Peter Parker" - coincedence or not, I am not buying it. Second, this guy's story c****ed in the same way a chameleon would c****e colors. In one email he's offering $200 and hour and in the next on he offers $700 - that is where it got weird. When I got the email offering the $700 he claimed it would also include a "studio rental fee," which I would be reimbursed for and required to ferret to the photographer who would be doing the actual ***** (two parties involved now). Now I am thinking, "I am the model, not the photographer, why shold I have to pay the rental fee for the studio, more or less be the one to pay it to the photographer doing the *****?"I am very thankful that I do at least have the education in the entertainment industry and a few friends yielded out of it, TWO of whom I ran this email past just for reassurance - one being an actor and the other a legitimate photographer. Both informed me that if not for the name, the asking of a studio rental fee alone should be cause for a red flag screaming "SCAM." Whether you get the call, the email or a package, the advice I give you (which is the same I received from both my friends), is to "be very wary" of this number and anyone making far fetched offers from it.

I received an email from a Chris Bently with this phone number. He found me on Love2act.com. I am affiliated with that website. He asked me for all of my information too. I didn't give him my home address. I gave him my church's address. Let's see if this is really real. He's offering me money as well for a car magazine. My check will be mailed out tomorrow. I will let you know if I really get paid.

I went though with it..i was on Hollywoodnorth.com and this person contacted me with the name Sally Fendal. Offreing a Phoo***** and i would get paid the amount of 1950... So i went thought with it... LOL THE FUNNY THING IS IM 16 and this person insisted on giving me a check.. I recieve the check in the amount of 2,981.81. I received the same email. The website he said he found me, I am not a member of. The site he references is a literary publication. The number he listed has a woman on the voicemail who sounds British. Not sure how legit it is being that all of you have received the same email. I'm curious about the package. This person has none of my information. Did he ask for yours? What was in the package? I'm curious...are you all models as well?
