This will allow you to file a complaint with the FTC and identify the complaint as an IRS complaint. Alternatively you can file a complaint directly with the FTC by visiting http://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov. Whether you use the IRS link or file the complaint directly with the FTC, add "IRS Hostile Call" in the Comments section of the complaint. Individuals who have been victimized by this scam and have provided one or more Green Dot MoneyPak numbers to the scammer should also notify Green Dot directly at 800-473-3636 to report the scam and open an investigation. They said from IRS and have a check with my name from oversea... must call them back... blah blah!

Recieved a call today. Threatening to sue me. It was a recording. Very upsetting. Our Letter from the IRS said the IRS would send another letter. This call demanded that you call Back immediately and pay immediately. At the end of the call the recording said " take care and god bless". That really set me off. The IRS has been targeting conservatives and Christians. Why would the IRS say take care and god bless.

What a scam. Preying on people claiming to be the IRS. Says if you don't return their call ASAP they will go forward with legal action. Has anyone actually called this number back?
