Yes--got a call today--went to Voice Mail. A guy announced himself as DEA Sgt. telling me they had a search Warrant for the premises and an arrest warrant out for me--for buying drugs online out of the country? ??? They wanted me to call them back Immediately! Hahahahahahha! ****! No thanks!
Yup! DEA agent who said i illegally purchased some drugs on-line (yeah right!) who then transferred me to another "agent" 202-241-1605 who offered to help clear my name for $3,000 of green.moneypak gift cards at the local CVS (etc). What makes it even more funny is that a couple of hours afterwards yet another "DEA agent" at 202-552-1056 (yes, another known scammer) wanted to talk to me about some illegal drugs ... yeah right. Total non-sense!
Same with me too, DEA agent called saying that I had purchased illegal drugs. Said he would arrest me. I told him to come on and get me, and tried to call the number back. No one answered.
Same drill here...and what is funny is that is not even remotely possible. Called the number back and got a voice mail that sounds like a joke
Received msg saying they were federal agent from DEA & I had purchased illegal drugs and customs was mentioned. Scary part was they had my name correct & left a msg to call "IMMEDIATELY" on my answering ma****e that doesn't have a personalized msg.
My wife received call from this number claiming to be a federal agent and if she didn't cooperate she could be arrested. She told them to come arrest her and ***g up.
