I received several calls from this phone number where a person stating he is Logan Smith a Special Agent for the Crime Investigative Unit in Washington, DC . He said I had a warrant out for my arrest for tax fraud. I said that's impossible. He said didn't you get do***ents in the mail and the local police contact you. I said no. I said how could that be I had a CPA do my taxes. He got very mad and said you are responsible for your own taxes not the CPA. When I asked what I did wrong, he kept stating the same thing that I had a warrant out for my arrest. My husband and I told him to send the do***ents a***n and asked if there was a local area IRS office I could contact. He hesitated and did not talk for awhile. He never gave me and info about what I did. He also stated that I was on a 3 way call with Homeland Security. I asked what Homeland Security had to do with this. I said are you from the IRS..he stared he was in the Crime Investigative Unit...a subsidiary of the IRS. I just ***g up on him after I asked him to resend the do***ents..then he after he stated my correct address I ***g up. He had a heavy Indian accent and half the time I couldn't understand him. Beware of this 202 area code call. I think they want to scare you to give them information about yourself.
