I also received numerous callers from this number who had an Indian or ****stani accent and he would leave me messages daily. They say they are investigating my address and that I am hiding tax crimes. They asked for my attorney's name and said that I will be going to court. They asked for my background information and said they will record my answers. I said that I do not want to give out my information to a stranger. The caller then proceeded to say that they will send a sheriff to me and arrest me. I blocked this number than received a call from a different number who left a message saying they are Officer ***a Albrook and are investigating a claim.

Received numerous calls from this number s****ing on August 20. ***a Albrook leaves a message saying they are investigating a claim. They keep calling until I picked up on August 23 and a man with an accent asks me there are going to file a lawsuit within 45 minutes of this call. They ask me if I have an attorney representing me. They claimed that they did an audit and found su****ious activity of sending funds overseas and trying to defraud the IRS. They said that an arrest warrant will be issued and I will be arrested the following business day. The penalty is 1700 and they ask how I intend to proceed. They also mentioned that they will notify the Immigration Dept and have me deported. I am a US born citizen. They intimate and try to get you to pay the penalty. Beware of this scam.

After 10 days of harassing calls from a ****stani accented caller from 202-241-2642, now this one from a female has s****ed. Couldn't quite get her name but claims to be an officer.

Got the same message as mentioned in your comments, NUMEROUS times. Never picked up any of these calls, however, it is very disturbing and absolutely annoying.

i got the same type of call, in my case the caller has an african american accent however the name she left on the voice mail is hispanic... ??? I never pick up unknown number calls so I just looked it up. right... same case.

Scam - claims to be from the crime investigation dept of the treasure inspector general for tax administration, and that my name and address are under investigation and I need to call back urgently.
