Person called claiming to be the police & of course trying to collect money from a payday loan. I have no payday loans & i knew it it was a scam. A little scared because they knew the last four of my social security & bank name. any advice??

We are an employer, this person called our work customer line, asking for one of our employees personal contact information, that we would not release. Claimed to be Officer stanley Marshall from the police department, and that they were investigating fraudulent activity of our employee. After hearing our employees side of the story, we looked up this number and see know that it was a scam to pressure her into releasing money.

he told me he was collectin 4 a payday loan company said i hav 2 pay half up front so they want come arrest me made up a buch of stories what they would do if i did'nt pay them found out the land line is in india over in the mideast

stanley marshall called me and said that he was a att. general and that he wants me to pay 503.00 hes like how much do you think u owe, i said i don"t know .he said i got the payment right in front of him. first of all no american calls me liza , my name is lisa. and he had all the info. i was scared , he told me he was from coopervills penn. but the id said washington, dc, than well he called back i asked him his name he was mas . guess what buddy u anoint getting nothing from me .

Someone saying he is Officer Stanley Marshall, from the Dispute Resolution Center with a heavy middle eastern accent just left voicemail on my cell and WOrk phone threatening me with legal action a***nst me and my social security #. What if my voicemail was shared with someone else and they got this message?? Why can't these people be stopped with this nonsense with all of the technology we have on hand? And you have to wonder how many folks do the scare into sending them money?!?!?
