We received a call from a man with a ****ese accent claiming to be with the IRS. He knew my husband's first and last name, and claimed he would take "legal allegation" if we did not pay. We received a similar call from someone in India Sa****ay. Apparently they are using magic jacks registered in DC. Please report to FTC, FBI, and magic jack.
When I called they asked me for my phone number! when I gave it to them they said is blank there? that's when I knew this was a FAKE CALL. Blank is my son and nothing could be wrong with his tax return. Anyways they spoke with an Indian accent. S****ing from india probably.
They called leaving a message not to ignore this phone call IRS Department. I just called the real IRS and they said they do not make calls. They said right off the bat this is a scam going on for a few months already.
