received a phone call this morning from "the internal Revenue" stating I had to call back immediately before legal action was taken. and the number 202-241-6193 was given, and then repeated with a warning not to ignore this message. I happen to know that the Internal Revenue does NOT phone you. so it was a scam, This is the fifth phone call I have received from "someone" in the Internal Revenue's office in the past 3 months, and each one is from a different phone number.
Robo-message left threatening legal action if the call is not returned to a hotline for "Jimmy Smith, IRS" by me or my lawyer. Ends with Goodbye and Take Care. heehee
I got a call from this number claiming he is fro the IRS. The caller has an Asian accent. I asked him that I will call back. When I did the answering ma****e says the box is full. I tried three times but I got the same message. I think this number is scam.
