called the house phone. Said he was with the IRS and my husband was under criminal investigation for tax fraud. He asked for our criminal tax attorney's name. I told him I knew our taxes were all paid and this must be a scam. then I ***g up. He continued to call repeatedly, sometimes leaving messages, sometimes not. I finally unplugged the house phone. Even though I know we have always paid our taxes, it really shook me up for a bit. I makes me mad!

Caller had heavy accent, claimed they were calling from tax fraud investigations unit of IRS. Left message amounting to "If we don't hear from you, we wish you the best of luck in dealing with this problem." IRS communicates via postal service for primary contact. This is a scam.
