Don't worry everyone, it is indeed a scam. I have friends at the IRS and was told they would NEVER call you about ANYTHING, least of which to threaten you with a lawsuit!! If there is a problem or irregularity with your taxes, they will ALWAYS send you a letter via US Mail with the details, and will do so in a respectful way. Please don't worry. If the harassing calls continue, call the IRS directly and tell them. Also file complaints with your local PD, the FBI, your state's Attorney General's office and the FCC. All these agencies plus the IRS are tracking these s***-****ing scammers!
