Leave a CommentThis scammer is using Magic jack to call numbers in the US from overseas. If you report it to [email protected] and attach the message they left on your phone, they will lose their line for violating the terms and condition. I did that exactly with 202-241-7164 and I received an email shortly from Magic Jack Thanking me for reporting the thieves and telling me that their service is shut down.

That phony IRS agent left another message for hubby today. She also called a week ago demanding that he call her back before she places a lein on his****ets. According to IRS, they would NEVER, EVER initially call a taxpayer to discuss a tax matter. They would write to you. Furthermore, they advise that you never give out personal information over the phone. And, they are aware of this particular scam! So, after reading my comments, please report the call to the federal trade commission at: http://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0076-phone-scams

Been calling from 202-241-8208. Received 2 messages today. Told me to call back or have my attorney call them. I have a tax accountant. Also heard IRS will send a letter as first point of contact and have you call them.
This is the fourth call today from someone trying to sell, spam or phish ... This particular call from 202.241.8208 said she was from the office of Julie Smith (how innovative) representing the IRS and I must call her (right!) .... These idiots need to go get a life without so much bad karma!

2022418208 claiming to be IRS as soon as I asked for information ID they ***g up phone
Left computer synthesized voice message claiming to be from IRS. Likely phishing scam, or possibly wrong number. I know me and the IRS are tight :)
