Got a call from Michael Brown from Washington DC saying we owed money to IRS. His accent c****ed mid sentence then I stated laughing. He ***g up, Then he called back from Los Angeles with a new accent but same name. But this time saying there was a RICO case, He didn't even know what RICO stood for, Next time he calls I will say my name is Darren Wilson from Ferguson, Missouri.

Number 202.241.8571. Albert Brown. Just talked to this guy, his phone connection was terrible and he had a fake southern accent. He told me someone is coming to arrest me in 45 minutes. Why do I still have a home phone?

Same thing here in Illinois. Call came from Michael Brown. Criminal Investigative Unit for IRS. I Called back and no answer. Left a message and they never called back. If you Google this number you get the same stories.....

I received a message stating a person named "Michael Brown" is from the Criminal Investigations department of the Internal Revenue Service. Terrible accent as well. The IRS will send a certified letter and the caller ID will say "IRS" not "District of Columbia" like this number does- and certainly not from a mobile phone. Beware! This is a scam!

Got voicemail today from this number, terrible accent, claiming to be IRS office with english name, sounds more like nigerian accent. This is a scam, it has been going all over the country, many victims who paid a lot of money to scammers. IRS will send you a certified mail, they will not call. I traced phone # to Ymax, which seems to be mobile and magic jack provider.
