Said office of the IRS total bogus

What a joke. Said she was an officer w IRS. That I needed to contact this number or action will be taken. This is second call I have received. Last one was from 909-666-5386 with an Indian male accent. I feel sorry for w***ver falls victim to this hoax!

Got a call left on answering ma****e from "Mr. Coston" claiming he was from the IRS, they had supposedly tried to contact me twice before, and that I was going to jail for 6 days for back taxes and owed $4,000 and my attorney had to call back within one hour." Tried to call the number above and got ****-up twice and then answering ma****e, clearly not the IRS. Evil scam.

I received a message sayin if I didn't return the call they would take action a***nst me.

Same thing. I'm scared to call. I'm sure that they will ask for my social if I do. Not happening. BTW, Irs contacts people via letter.

got the same message saying that they were the IRS and they will take action if I do not call them back immediately. Very unprofessional recording.

An automated message claiming to be the IRS, saying they needed information or they'd take action. Surely was a hoax, because it was not official-sounding at all.
