I felt that this is a scam, but then, it sounds real. However, if it sounds too good to be teuw, it probably is a scam. Can this be checked out?

I received a call from this number advising me that I had won a MegaMillions several years ago and I had never claimed it. He claimed to be from the Consumer division of government and was the officer in charge of this case. $450,000.00 was the amount and it was his job to see that I received it. It was going to cost me $950.00 for insurance for transporting this across Texas lines. I was to make out a cashiers check in that amount to be paid to James Blumer who was the insurance broker for Lloyd's of London in Illinois. When I told him that my daughter was on my checking account and I would have to get her approval first before writing a check, he ***g up. His name (as he told me) was Conner Pruitt, CID 135-148. This guy calls me over and over insisting that he is trying desperately to help me get this money before my case is closed.
