This was the caller ID on the phone, but the recorded voice said that it was the IRS and they were calling about "back taxes". The recorded voice had a thick accent and sounded like calls I got before the big ***** down six months ago. A phone number was given to call back, but I did not write it down. WILL THEY EVER LEARN?

anonymous Caller ID shows the name "SSI." Usually I am not home to get the call and they never leave a message, but today I was able to pick up live. Caller said he is with "First Media Services" and wanted to ask some questions about "home ownership." I asked them to explain more about the company and he said "most people have never heard of them and whatnot, but they are a legitimate company and whatnot." (Those were his exact words -- "whatnots" and all! SMH!) I asked where this company was based, and he said some town (I forget which) in Idaho. I asked him why his company name didn't match my caller ID (which says "SSI"), and he said it's because of the routing station they use. All of this sounds sketchy to me. I told him that I was not interested in a survey and asked to be removed from the call list. Caller: SSI / First Media Services

Don't press any numbers when these spammers call you. If you are on a do not call list they are already ignoring it. Pressing a number just tells them your number is "live" and you will probably get more calls.

Phone spam. Political survey questions by phone. irritating calls do not want in the first place. did not answer phone. their auromated robocall ******* my phone for 5 min. know it not do any good but will file complain with National no call list about them tying up my phone for 5 minutes. And leaving a message on the answering ma****e with NO way to opt out. I believe that violates the federal no call list regulations. would like to see these organizations be required to give you option to opt out of receiving calls.

DB 202-350-9185 is a collection agency # used by NRS, Nationwide Recovery Systems. They collect for major companies such as credit card, utility and other companies looking to recover on old debts.

They called me yes****ay at 7pm, left no message, I called back and it only rang. They called me a***n today at 5:30pm, I answered and they ***g up.

Called me numerous time in the last 3 weeks. I never answer but when I try to call it back all I hear is 'elevator" music and then it disconnects. Gonna attempt to answer next time and see who the **** it is!!

I got several FAX messages from this number supposedly to verify a sweepstake win.

Call off and on all day.  No one on the line.  Never leaves a message.
