well it can be possible i also received that same call from govt grants dept, but guys govt has provided me my grants money....well i think it depends that you have received a call from right dept or not. I received a call from that same number...

This number called me and said that i was eligible fr a no payback federal grant for 4700.00,after a bit they called me back and said that they were having difficulties and that i could pick this up at a western union but it would cost me 135.00,they said tht it would refunded to me at the same my money came through.

this no. called me too and ask me for account info. they said the same too me but i dont have to seen them anymoney. this will call me and send me money to my account. i got the same call...  now um wait to see what happens....

it is a scam. go to your bank now! they will call you back and tell you to send them 135$ via western union to verify your idenity and then you will get your money. its all bs and they are a scam. edwin chase is fake and so his is gov id number. go to www.gov.grants.com and read what it says about grant frauds. never will you be randomly selected for a grant unless u have applied for one. second if you do get approved for one they will never ask for money to cover fees or any other bull ****!!!

I received the exact same call and follow up with instructions... im a little skeptical and currently resear****g... please let me know whether this worked out for you or whether we are being scammed.
