told me i was selected for a $6000 free grant that i never had to pay back. told me to call 202 407 9116 with my confrmation code which was wg1017

This number is connected to some other numbers pulling the same scam. This s*** has to c****e their numbers occasionally to stay one step ahead of the authorities. My grant approval number was WB1028. Sound familiar?

My confirmation number was WG---He  transfer me to the 202 4079116 number, wanted me to go to Western Union. call him and he will tell me how to fill out form and to pay the $200. security fee, but don't tell Western Union about the Grant"

I just got off the phone with someone who gave this number 202-407-9116. He, also said I was selected to receive $6000 from the government. The funny thing is he gave me the same approval number WG1021 and I was supposed to give it when I called the number. BELIEVE ME, if government wants to give you anything, they'll just send it to you without asking. They know you better than you think they do. $6000! Let those scammers go f%^&* themselves.

I received a phone call from a number that was all numbers. Curious I answered it and was told that I was going to receive a government grant for $6,000. I was to call 202-407-9116 and give them an approval number wg1021. I did call, still curious I get a man with a very heavy accent and made him constantly repeat. To no avail I could not understand his name. I think that was on purpose because when I asked him where he was calling from he said the U.S. grant department in Washington, D.C.and gave me the 200 address. I demanded to speak to someone that spoke english and that was the end of the conversation.

These people are saying that they work with the US treasury/Grant that I have been selected to receive a $6000 grant free, i am to go to western union center to collect BUT I am to deposit $200 before and they will refound it with the $6000. I see it as a scam so I want to Know who that person is and where they are calling from.

This number is calling my house.
