jacob This phone seems to be a verizon wireless land line. Which i don't understand at all, as I can send them messages. lolwut?

I was able to get someone at the law firm on the phone and talk with me.  They claim that they were transitioning their technology and their phone system was hacked and now the hacker is using their phone system to send out telephone phishing calls, under their caller-id.  very sad.
