Hey My sister just got this call today 02/21/11 WOW this man I cant believe he is trying to get more people to scam how is he geting our numbers I am glad I google this number I am so sorry for those who fell to this Jurk...

Anyone who received the phone call did they know your name and address?  Woman recited my name and address to me without prompting.

Seleta... I am so sorry that this happened to you. My finace and I just received the same call from one Alex Williams claiming to be with a government grant agency. We too are experiencing hard times...on the verge of losing our home and down to our last dollars..hard during the holiday season/ You are so right stay strong..GOD is with you during this difficult times. Sending my prayers out to you and your family...sorry that this happened to you and to all others out there whom have had the same thing happened to them. Jesus is with you and will get you through this just have faith..I sure do and know that he will be there by my side through the rough times. "Alex Williams" called from "202/436-9919" saying he was from the "Federal Grants Department" offering a $7000 grant.  Please know that the Federal government does not give out Federal grants at random (without an application), nor do they typically award them to individuals or small businesses.  Additionally, any callers seeking your personal or business financial information should send up every possible red flag.  This is a scam and should be reported to your the consumer complaints department within your state immediately.  In Illinois it is the IL Attorney General.

got it today 11/23 ,asking me for bank account to deposit it,because the rules as he said is to transfer the amount in45 min,amount was 7000 and i will need to contact alex williams at 202-436-9919.He provide me with a correct address of grant.gov in DC. He was an asian accent,i guess.

this s**t is a scam talking about a $7000 goverment grant thats bull s**t they said you had pay a one time fee of  $99 then they would send you your $7000 what a f***ing scam

I got the call also & they wanted a $99 processing fee for a free government grant. I'm sick of these people someone needs to find them & stop them.

I have received a call saying I got 7000 in grants they want me to make a pymt to some charity in Asia and Europe. SCAM

i recvd this call on my cell-this is a **** scam. please dont give out your money account-the person is from washington dc number and is ripping ppl off by saying that they will get $7000 in grants if they make a charity pymt to Asian countries like ****a, India, Thailand, ****ladesh, and ****stan. This information has been fwded to Western Union and to FBI. If anyone receives a call-immediately call 911 and give this number out to 911 authority and let them handle this bozo.

This number has called my phone a couple of times. They never leave a message.

Recieved same call for a grant of 7000 free and clear (bells ringing when i heard that), to good to be true.Guy sounded asian, wanted my card or bank info, told him no dice send me a paper check. I was then told to call this number and talk to alex williams he would finalize my claim. of course i googled the number and it is in washington dc but one site said it was a cell number and one said it was a land line sounds like a scam smells of a scam. so i am thinking this is a scam.
