BKS Claiming to be from the IRS and will be sending police to arrest you unless you get back to them at this number (and pay up, of course). I have received 2 calls from them so far (as a message on my landline phone.
I’ve gotten seven calls this morning from these numbers, all with the same area code. Every half an hour they are calling. They don’t leave a message, and the caller ID says Washington DC.

Marty R. These people called my cell phone, with a very thick Indian accent, saying that if I sent them a green dot cash card with $200, and gave them my personal information, they'd send me a $9,000 Federal Government Grant for having no criminal record. I told him that I would not tell him any of my information, and that he wouldn't be getting a single penny from me. I also told him that I knew he was nothing but a lying scammer and that I had reported him to the FTC. He cursed at me and threatened to **** me, my family, and my fiancée.
Jr Counted 7 calls in a 24 hour period on caller id.

Jen This is a ******** phone call
The number called my phone a second day in a row offering money for a different type of grant each time
A woman, called herself Linda Miller called from unknown number saying she is from US Govt Federal Grants Department. She said that I am one of 2000 people chosen yearly for being good citizens paying taxes on time and having no criminal records to receive $10000 grant in next 24hrs, all I need to do was call 202-436-9757 and tell them the confidential code MA109, lol.. Googled this number and ofcourse it was a scam, so just to make fun of these guys I played along and called them up by hiding my caller id, I calmly kept providing them all fake personal details including different fake confidential code like FAF105, once they were into the flow I surprisingly told them that just for their information the call was being tapped by law enforcement(which really wasn't :) lol) and thats just to protect me just in case.. boy that scared the day lights out of them, there was absolute silence on the other end for few mins followed by frustrated blabber and call being disconnected.. Guys be aware of these crooks, don't fall for them but I guess best way of paying them back would be to return the prank which they try to play and have fun in the process lol..

Vinnie Hey My sister just got this call today 02/21/11 WOW this man I cant believe he is trying to get more people to scam how is he geting our numbers I am glad I google this number I am so sorry for those who fell to this Jurk...
Ron i Wish I would've seen this first! Luckily I figured it out on the fly. I was in a bind and applied for a payday loan online (I know first mistake!) Next thing I know I'm these calls asking me to verify some of my 7nformation. Not all of it at once, mind you. Each call came in succession. Each asking me to verify a different piece on personal info. This happened over the span of 20-30 mins. At first I didn't think anything of it. But by the time I was asked to verify my home adddress I was very su****ious, this was the infamous government grant call everyone else has mentioned! So I answer the phone and almost immediately my spider-sense is going off! I'm not sure if it was the very thick and almost unintelligible (yet somehow expected) Hispanic female voice, or the blatantly vanilla name of the company that set me on guard. I mean "government grant distribution center" wow they were really original! Between her accent and mumblig through her script (luckily that same bit of bad acting helped me) I could. Barely understand her! Except for each time she got to the "you have been selected to receive a $5000 grant ) their explanation for this very generous gift was that I along with 11,500 other apparently civic minded Americans were chosen for this "stimulus grant" because we had all managedto payed our taxes on time, keep our collective ****s out of jail, and not filed bankruptcy.
leedra jackson Someone is calling from this # and I don't know who it is. They say ii have a loan but I don't know if irts true
Tamlyn Has anyone applied for health insurance online just prior to getting these calls. The only time I have given out my cell number was recently on two websites for health insurance. Seems funny that I am now receiving calls from this number. If anyone has recently given out their number you should post who it was. There might be a connection. Just a thought. On the upside. Glad I didn't answer. Now when I call back I will be prepared.
Any clue where this is from?
He is from Weschester DC
it was a call to my cell phone.
I called the boy twice about midnight, and finally got his mother on the phone. She of course didn't speak any English. I explained what her little ***t was doing. She didn't seem surprised. I hope he doesn't ever call back a***n. I don't have time for this.
