Caller ID says American Voicem...

I just got a robo call for elections in Illinois from this number.  I used to live in Chicago but don't anymore and I don't have an IL area code.  The call never identified who was calling...I had to google to figure it out.

ID with this # said it was from American VoiceM

called me twice this evening.  i did pick up once last week and it was politics.  called me 4 times already in last 3 weeks.  annoying...

It's definitely regarding politics.  It's a number that gets reused for whatever political stance they decide to solicit for the moment.  Just ignore it.  There's nothing you can do about it.

I just missed a call from this number and tried to return call. All I got was a full voice mailbox.

They asked for the parents of my sister. I handed the phone to my mother, she asked who they were. They said the American Prep Center and proceeded to tell my mom "your daughter indicated on her ACT's that she request to raise her score"....my sister hasn't even taken her ACT's yet..My Mom asked a***n who they were and he said "Thank you maam" and ***g up. Caller ID (like above) says American Voicem. Called back and got an answering ma****e saying the party you tried to reach is unavailable - please leave message after the tone. Very sketchy SOB's.

My personal number has part of this number in it. So it is showing up on caller ID. Problem is people are calling me back wanting to know why I am calling them. Really annoying! Anyone have suggestions on how to get my number to stop showing up?

This is so ******.  My area code is obviously not in the City of Chicago.  I happen to be from Chicago, I do care what happens to Chicago, but I cannot vote so my opinion should not be worth anything.  Dumb...

Apparently its a polling system for chicago may**** race - given a list of names, who would YOU want to run for mayor.  Body is not even cold............

They called me 4 times from this number? Trying to also find out why! Any help as to why?
