Received a call on my cell phone this afternoon, bad connection, all I could get was IRS and a phone number. When I got home from work I called back. Mark Brown, in the res***ution dept. explained that I owed $5800.00 to the IRS and I had 30 min.to go to a store and purchase with cash a tax pay voucher and he would give me instructions on where to send it OR first thing tomorrow my driver license would be suspended and my bank accounts would be seized and the marshals would be here to take me away in cuffs. their number is 202-506-8062. DON'T FALLFOR IT.

Scam call from "IRS" urgent message, computerized voice.

This scam "IRS" number left a computer generated voice message yes****ay saying, ,"Do not disregard this message before we take legal allegations a***nst you." Clearly, not an "English as a first language" con-artist. They have called twice today. Each time, they did not leave another message.

Received a call from this number at 2:30pm and then a call from a private number at 4:45pm with a recorded message claiming to be an IRS agent and instructing me to call back before legal action is taken.
