Leave a CommentDon't call back. Of course it's a SCAM! So the people with the foreign accents with American names who were calling a few months ago have now resorted to a female computerized "robot" caller. However, the connection is so bad that I still can't understand what they're saying-- basically IRS… blah, blah, Don't disregard, blah, blah, Good bye and take care. Silly scammers. IGNORE!!!!
here is the partial voicemail we received: Voicemail from (202) 506-8798 "Service and the hotline to my division is 2025068798. I repeat it's 2025068798. Don't disregard this message and do return the call before we take any legal allegation a***nst you. Goodbye and take care."
An IRS call with a****ential "threat" if the call wasn't called back immediately that I could be in trouble.
do not fall for it.. beware.
I received the call from same number 5 minutes ago. It was an automated answering ma****e. I called the same number and got a response that the number you calling is unreachable. Can someone block this number or intercept who is making call via this number to reduce our time answering this call.
I got a call saying he was from the IRS and that if I did not pay within an hour a warrant would be put out for my arrest. his instructions were go to the bank get out eight thousand fifty dollars cash go to Safeway grocery store get a voucher for the IRS then use a computer go to a websit and enter the number on the voucher. The best part about this was he wanted to stay on the phone with me well I did all this running around, beware this is a scam the IRS does not work in this way they will send certified mail. The voucher number
