Saw so****ing about this SCAM on the news! Don't return the call....call FBI instead

left message and claimed call from IRS

I received a voice mail and returned the call - got a woman with a very thick Indian accent. I told her I was returning the call and asked her twice if she was with the with the IRS - she said she was and gave me her ID 10002511. She told me that I owed $4,262.52 in taxes because of an error that was made on my 2011 / 2012 tax return. I asked to speak with her supervisor as I have problems understanding her. I then talked with a man also with Indian accent. He said my credit card and bank accounts have been frozen and that my driver's license had been suspended. He direct me to Safeway, home deport, or Rite Aid to pay the taxes I owed. When I said that I have to go to work before I can make the payment. He got mad and yelled at me. I knew it is scam soon after I talked with the Indian woman , but wanted to find out more about their operation. I heard from the back ground there are phone conversations mentioning IRS.

Do not answer call FBI

IRS scammer. Female voice with accent claiming to be from the IRS and that we owe taxes. Called back many times, and eventually bugged them enough they no longer answered the phone.
