Just got a message from DAVID COOPER as well. Thick Indian accent, with a caller ID of "PRIVATE CALLER". I highly doubt my caller ID wouldn't recognize a proper IRS number. He threatened that there was a deficiency in my income taxes, and that it was very serious so I shouldn't even think about disregarding the message. First of all, I've only ever gotta paper mail from the IRS. Secondly, threatening answering message instead of a reference number? No.

Just received a call. Felt like a scam. Indian-accent person named DAVID COOPER from the IRS saying that I was delinquent and owed a considerable sum in back taxes. Sherriff's on the way to my address to arrest me, etc., etc. I got extremely mad; however, I stated that if criminal proceedings were to occur, then BRING IT! He asked if I felt that I would win my case in court and I said YES! Funny thing though, if the Sherriff was on the way to my house, I was not even in-state during the call. He utilized my home phone number as a reference to the case the IRS had a***nst me. Someone should stop these idiots!!!
